President's Message,
Brought to you by Bruce D. Lane, SRES

Bruce Lane
Greetings:

I am pleased to submit my first President's Message as your 2011 President. On September 22, 2010, I assumed the duties of President of the Greater Providence Board of REALTORS® at the 104th Annual Meeting and Installation Luncheon held at the Squantum Association, Riverside RI.  I would like to welcome the new directors and take a moment to thank you for the opportunity to share this upcoming year with you, our valued members.

I would also like to recognize the leadership and vision of my predecessor, Elizabeth 'Libby' Isaacson, who did a remarkable job this past year as your 2010 President.  Libby will continue in her leadership role as the
2011 Vice-President at the RI Association of REALTORS® and I look forward to working closely with her and the state and local leadership teams.

This year, I am committed to creating new leadership opportunities, expanding our association business platform and incorporating evolving technology into our membership services.  I will also include an article dedicated to professional practice updates to our regular newsletters.

And of course, we will continue our Professional Development Series - which brings our members complimentary professional development topics in a casual and informative setting at the Board office.

To accomplish these goals, I need support and input from you - I encourage you to fill out a Committee Involvement Form and let me know of your interests.  I am looking for people with time and a commitment to our strategic vision - ensuring the professional success of our members! I look forward to working with you this coming year!

Regards,

Bruce Lane, SRES
