Volume 4
Issue 9
September 2010
President's Message,
Libby Isaacson, ESRES, GRI
Libby
Dear Fellow REALTORS® and Affiliates,

On September 22, 2010 I will pass the gavel of leadership to Bruce Lane at the Annual Meeting and Installation Luncheon.  At this special gathering, we will also honor our REALTOR® of the Year, Robert Scaralia. Our guests will also include the Platinum Sponsors for this year's successful   Charity Golf Classic. I am pleased to report that our efforts raised over $22,000 for local charities and I would like to extend the Board's appreciation for all those who participated- sponsors, players and volunteers!

It has been a pleasure to represent you this year as the President of the Greater Providence Board of REALTORS®.  We have brought you the "Know the Code" series, which includes the informative video training on the REALTOR® Code of Ethics. We have continued to expand educational opportunities at the Board and heightened awareness about the benefits being a REALTOR® offers you!  During challenging economic conditions, we have continued to provide you exceptional membership services at competitive prices, and I am pleased to announce that for 2011 we have proposed no dues increases!

In this upcoming year, please consider donating time to the Board.  We have a variety of committees you may wish to consider and the connections and knowledge you will uncover are invaluable!

It is with great pride that I will continue to represent the REALTOR® organization as the Vice-President of the RI Association of REALTORS® in 2011.  I look forward to my service to you and REALTORS® across the state!

My very best wishes to you, and I hope to see you on September 22nd at the 104th Annual Meeting and Installation Luncheon.

Sincerely,

 Libby
