Board of REALTORS®
Volume 3
Issue 3
March 2009
President's Message,
Sussy DeLeon

Greetings!

Volunteers are the most important resource of the Greater Providence Board of REALTORS®. The members who contribute their time and talents to the many functions our Board provides are to be commended for their commitment. In our extended REALTOR® network I am sure that there are members who dedicate special service to their profession, community organizations or an important cause that has some significant meaning to them. Because of this involvement, lives and communities are changed. I would like to honor this effort!  This month, I invite you to consider fellow REALTOR® members who make a difference in the lives of others. It is my goal to submit your nominations for the 10th Annual NAR Good Neighbor Awards. The Award annually recognizes five REALTOR® members from across the country whose commitment to service creates better lives for those they touch.

Honorees are awarded $10,000 for their chosen charity work. These donations are sponsored by eNeighborhoods, Homes.com and Lowe's. In addition to the grant, each honoree will receive a $2,000 Lowe's gift card and each honorable mention will receive a $1,000 Lowe's gift card. Deadline for submission is Friday, May 22, 2009.

Members of the Greater Providence Board of REALTORS® have the reputation of being leaders in their local communities - reach out and let us know what you are doing and our staff will be happy to guide you! For more information you can click here.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Respectfully submitted,

Sussy DeLeon
2009 President
