Audition Date & Time: Tuesday, April 5 at 7:00PM

  

Where: Sutter Street Theatre, 717 Sutter Street, Folsom, CA 95630

   

Performance Dates & Times: May 14 to June 5 - Saturday and Sunday at 1:00pm

 

Rehearsals: 7:00 - 9:00PM Tuesdays - Thursdays plus Sunday afternoon or evening depending on availability of the cast.

 

Characters:

 

Dorothy - Female age 10 - teen


Alice - Female age 10 - teen


Judson - Male or Female age 10 - teen


The Mad Hatter - Male age teen - adult


Scarecrow - Male age teen - adult


White Rabbit - Male or Female age teen - adult


The Tin Man - Male age teen - adult


The Dormouse - Male or Female age 10 - teen must be small in stature


The Cowardly Lion - Male or Female age teen - adult


The Wicked Witch - Female age teen - adult


The Red Queen - Female age teen - adult

 

The play takes place in the Tugley Wood and is a wonderful mix up of two classic stories.

  

This is a non-musical.

The Kids Left, The Dog Died, Now What?

Audition Date & Time: Sunday, April 10 at 7:00PM

 

Where:  Sutter Street Theatre, 717 Sutter Street, Folsom, CA 95630

 

Performance Dates and Times:  June 10- July 17 on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00PM and Sundays at 4:00PM.

 

Rehearsals are Sunday Through Thursday evenings.

 

Summary: As introduced on "NBC-TV's THE TODAY SHOW" the story follows a group of baby-boomers valiantly struggling with the effect of gravity on their bodies, divorce on their hard-won bank accounts, grandchildren on their self images and the dating scene on their egos. Of the 78 million baby-boomers defiantly hanging on to their youth, author Carole Lonner has chosen 20 around which to weave her musical. Mid life foreplay is the final frontier.

 

This musical show is a "Baby Boomers" version of "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change.

 

Cast:

4 - 6 actors/singers play 20 different roles.

3 men ages 40 - 60

3 women ages 40 - 60

 

Please bring a headshot and resume if you have them and be prepared to sing a short musical piece that shows your abilities (bring piano music or a CD accompaniment).
