The Holidays are upon us and with it a very busy month for Sutter Street Theatre.  Following are details on the three, yes three, Holiday Shows we will be presenting in December: Holiday in the Hills, Forever Plaid: Plaid Tidings, and the heartwarming musical The Quiltmaker's Gift.

And for your Holiday shopping, we are offering 2011 Season Tickets at a greatly reduced discount over single ticket prices.

Three Holiday Musicals For Your Enjoyment!

 

Holiday in the Hills

Holiday in the Hills

Join us for the fifth season of this annual traditional production.  Filled with song and dance and based on real life characters of the late 1800's, Holiday in the Hills promises to have you leaving the theatre with a smile on your face and warmth in your heart.  This show typically sells out performances so get your tickets early.  Holiday in the Hills plays on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00pm and Sundays at 4:00pm plus extra weekday performances at 7:00pm December 20 through December 23.  Click here to watch a clip of a rehearsal of one of the songs from Holiday in the Hills.


Forever Plaid: Plaid Tidings

The Boys of Forever Plaid are back on Earth Plaid Tidingswith a nifty Christmas package of songs and humor.  The show opened on November 26 and all three shows that weekend were sold out.  Reservations are going fast for the remaining shows.  Don't miss this very talented foursome.  You will not be sorry! Performances are on Saturday and Sunday at 9:00pm and Sunday at 7:00pm through December 19 AND THEN we have a special New Year's Eve performance at 9:00 on December 31 followed by a New Year's Eve party.  The final two performances are on January 1 at 8:00pm and January 2 at 4:00pm. 

 

 The Quiltmaker's Gift

We are proud to present a very heartwarming and humorous musical, The The Quiltmaker's GiftQuiltmaker's Gift for your holiday enjoyment.  Based on the book by Jeff Brombeau, this musical was originally performed locally at Garbeau's Acorn & Oak Theatre in 2005 & 2006 to rave reviews.  It previously ran for seven seasons at the Phoenix Theatre to sell out audiences.  The show is suitable for all ages from the little ones to adults.  It has a wonderful message of giving and charming songs.  Get your reservations early.  The Quiltmaker's Gift runs on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00pm plus weekday performances on December 20, 21, 22, 23, 27, 28 & 29.

Group Discount Rates are available for 10 or more plus Birthday Parties for children can be arranged for a slightly higher ticket price.  Call for information.

First Annual Steppin' Out For Sutter Street Theatre Celebration and Auction

MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR SATURDAY, JANUARY 29 - 7:00PM TO 11:00PM

Silent AuctionSutter Street Theatre will be holding it's first annual Celebration and Auction in January.  The Red Carpet, Black Tie Optional Event will be held at the Lake Natoma Inn on January 29, 2011 and will feature an evening of Entertainment, Hors d'oeuvres, No Host Bar, Dancing and a Silent and Live Auction with a large selection of items from jewelry to artwork to show tickets to fine dining, to ????

All this for only $45 per person.

Proceeds from tickets and the auction sales will help Sutter Street Theatre to be able to continue providing year-round, award winning entertainment.

In about a week you will receive a formal email invitation to this event with full Silent Auctiondetails on how to get your tickets.
