| "THE HISTORY OF AMERICA (ABRIDGED) IS GOING STRONG |
The History of America (abridged) is playing through August 15. Join us as we explore 600 years of history in two hours. This is a fabulously funny look at what really happened in the history of our Country. Through the very talented skills of three actors we get a first hand look at the craziness of the people and places that make us who we are.
Jessica Larrick, Ryan Adame, Michael Coleman |
"The play relies on three characters to sum up the character of our country: Ryan (Ryan Adame), Jessica (Jessica Larrick)), and Mikey (Michael Coleman) as they whiz through a compressed "historical" demonstration, part historical and part hysterical."
David Jacobson, Village Life Columnist
Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sunday at 4:00pm

| HISTORIC FOLSOM REVITALIZATION |
|
Historic Folsom is getting a facelift. There is much going on that will improve the overall experience of your visit to Sutter Street. A new and improved street design, more shops and new lofts for rent. A redesign of the Railroad and History spaces. A wonderful outdoor amphitheater.
All these future enhancements do come at a temporary price. There is construction equipment on the streets, daytime noise, dust, detours BUT even with all this, Sutter Street is going strong. Merchants are open and the Sutter Street Theatre is producing shows to the delight of audiences.
The Thursday Night Market is a wonderful way to spend a leisurely evening.
Second Saturday brings vendors and music to fill up the Historic Area and merchants are in full swing with specials and entertainment.
A Sunday morning Farmers Market is a great way to get fresh produce.
