Charlie Holliday very rarely offers young performers classes, however due to the number of requests we've been receiving, registrations are now being accepted for this interesting and entertaining course, to be held June 14 - June 25 1 PM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday at Sutter Street Theatre, 717 Sutter Street, Historic Folsom.
Acting for Camera uses a different set of skills than acting on stage. Charlie brings his experience in more than 40 movies and TV shows to this is a "nuts and bolts" class for young actors at all levels who want to develop or improve their skills in front of the camera. The first half of each class is spent explaining and practicing various special problems confronting the film/TV actor, such as: hitting the mark, finding your light, overlaps, set protocol, stunt work, etc. In the second half of each class, participants work from movie and TV scripts using those techniques. As class size is limited to a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 12 new students preregistration is recommended.

Instructor's Bio: Charlie Holliday is a member of the Screen Actors Guild, the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, and former member of Actors Equity Association, and is a working actor who has appeared in more than forty movies and television programs. His many credits include the motion pictures Kindergarten Cop and Hereafter, directed by Clint Eastwood, the Hallmark Movies of the Week The Christmas Card and Out of the Woods. Television credits include the mini-series Gone But Not Forgotten, Quantum Leap, General Hospital, and many more. In addition to his film and television work, Charlie has appeared in a wide range of stage productions at Sacramento Theatre Company, the Stagedoor Comedy Playhouse, and theaters in Southern California. Charlie also teaches film and TV directing and is owner/director of the
Mosaic Acting Academy, where he also conducts classes. In addition he is a partner in Northern California's premier casting company,
Media Casting Group.
