rehearsals: March 28 - April 15 - Sunday through Thursday evenings, 7:00pm to 9:30pm. No rehearsal Easter Sunday. Note: If there is too much of a conflict with spring break, we may shift one of the rehearsal weeks to earlier.
performances: April 17 to May 30. Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00pm (There may also be performances for school groups in the mornings on April 21 and May 5)

plot summary: This delightful one act play involves a play within a play as a performing group of actors gather to put together the production of Jack and the Beanstalk with the help of a mysterious "Magic Keeper." There are only four actors who play multiple parts.
what to bring: Photo and resume if you have them. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
types needed:
Magic Keeper: also plays Mama and the Hissing Snake. May be male or female--older teen or adult.
Debbie: also plays Cow, Cloud and Ogre Wife. Older teen or adult. If young should be able to portray an old woman. The Ogre Wife is grouchy and bossy.
Rick: also plays Jack. A child no younger than 10 or a young teen. May be male or female.
Bob: also plays Shyster, Cloud and Ogre. Older teen or adult. Larger in size would be helpful. The Shyster and Ogre are somewhat menacing figures.
