Stage 9 - Garbeau's General Auditions

GENERAL AUDITIONSStage 9 - Garbeau's will be holding our annual General Auditions on Monday, Oct. 19 and Tuesday, Oct. 20 from 7:00-9:00. AUDITIONS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Call (916) 353-1001 for an appointment or additional information.
The General Auditions are for shows in our 2010 season listed above. We will schedule call backs before each show for those in whom we are interested. You may also come to auditions scheduled at a later date for individual shows.
At the General Auditions we are also auditioning for 2 men and 2 women ages 25 to 35 for the musical I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change.
WHAT TO BRING...
Please bring a resume and headshot or photo if you have them.
ALSO, bring two contrasting monologues or one monologue and a song the total of which shall not exceed three minutes. If you are presenting a song, please bring sheet music or an accompanying CD. An accompanist will be provided.
All ages from children, teens, adults and seniors are needed.
We are not an Equity theatre and there is no pay for actors.

As we announced in our prior e-Newsletter, we are closing the Stage Nine Entertainment Store in order to concentrate on the theatre and the educational component, Theatre Production & Technical Academy.
WE NEED HELP!
There is a lot of "stuff" to pack, move, set up, etc. before the end of the month. If you can volunteer even a small amount of time, we would be greatly appreciative.

Fall Musical Theatre Workshop
There is still room in our Fall Musical Theatre Workshop "Long Live Rock & Roll" beginning on Oct. 6. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:30-5:30pm and
Saturday mornings from 10:00am-noon through November 12. Following the
workshop will be performances on Friday 11/13 & 20 at 7:30 and
Saturdays and Sundays from 11/ 14 through 11/29 at 1:00pm. Directed by
Connie Mockenhaupt and Susan Mason with assistance from Allen Schmeltz
and Mark Ferreira, this workshop provides students the opportunity to
participate in all aspects of a musical production. Space is limited so call (916) 353-1001 for information and to reserve a spot.
