Association of Christ-based Clergy, Counselors, Educators and Educational Systems
A3CEES
Fall 2009, 16th Year Celebration Edition |
|
Sixteen years ago a concept was born. Believers arrived, the mayor spoke, elders proclaimed, and a distinctive ministry was birthed. However, on that day, we had no earthly idea of what all was in store. Today, sixteen years later, this eReport stands as a testimony to God's faithfulness. We are a web-based monolith for Jesus!
There are so many people to recognize including: you, well-wishers, mentors, theologians, elders, pastors, Christian educators, my wife and family, and an extraordinary Christian-Ed mother who taught us sitting in the floor as children, and prayed and cried over us while we slept.
But above all I bless the Lord who provided such a marvelous concept and the courage and strength through the darkest of days. My words for you if you are starting any kind of work in ministry: Ask Abraham! Ask Joseph! Ask David! Ask our Lord and Master, Jesus! Their lives tell you ... "Humility before honor."
By grace through faith
Dr. Steven B. DavidSon

How about prayer with Dr. DavidSon in the morning. As a part of his prayer period, he recently began twittering prayers every morning. He'd love nothing more than placing you, your child or loved one on the altar, providing that you are praying with him.

Affirmed Christian College and Seminary Assessment Program
(ACCSAP)
Did you know that A3CEES has a college assessment program? It is the nation's most popular web site for Christian accreditation.
Why? You ask. Because God in His sovereignty wants all to see the truth about the accreditation process in the United States, and its impact on faith-based learning institutions. ACCSAP affirms other viable Christian colleges who shun the federal-backed accreditation process.
Historically, conservative Christian colleges and seminaries did not desire accreditation.
There are commendable United Stated Department of Education (ED) faith-based colleges and non ED colleges and seminaries.
However, federal student loans and grants are tied to accreditation. So, over the years, even the most conservative institutions have capitulated. Bob Jones University finally bowed in 2007.
Nevertheless, ACCSAP provides students with information about other viable institutions; and conducts assessments of these institutions by administrator or student request.
These are viable institutions with sound programs, and they will not leave graduates with a staggering debt.
Recently, we discovered a new customer, the Council for Distance Education Association (CDEA).
CDEA became a federally recognized accrediting association similar to regional accrediting associations in 2007.
CDEA phoned A3CEES to see if we affirmed or recognized a certain institution.
The Christian college in question publicly stated on their web site that they were recognized by A3CEES and CDEA.
We answered "no," but the point was not missed. A United States Department of Education recognized accrediting association such as CDEA view A3CEES' Christian college and seminary assessment program as a viable affirmation of post-secondary education.
Bless the Lord!!!
You can see a report on the truth about accreditation, self-assessment quality-criteria, and current alternative educational colleges and seminaries for ministry preparation.

| SPECIAL WEB NOTICE

Thanks for you patience. |

New Look!
If you have not been to the site of the National Association of Christ-based Counselors, it has a new face. It has a condensed and sharper appeal, and has a menu console for all of the concept documents, and program features. However, we have maintained the legacy web site for those who cling to nostalgia. Both sites can be seen here: New Old
Disciplinary Notification: Our counselors recently received a disciplinary notification and reminder. We regret these incidents, but discipline/correction is a part of ministry. In fact, identify a ministry that never adjudicates discipline, you are viewing a ministry operating under a culture of sin, complete chaos, or Ichabod (the spirit of the Lord has left this place). Our loving God is the God who knows human functioning and what's necessary to correct behavior. Those of you who do not embrace corporal punishment for children, must see God's design. He knows how to get us on track! Hebrews 12:1-13. Our loving God through Jesus Christ does not play!!! Click here to see notification
New Faces! Often, we introduce counselors who complete their programs. This time we feature a few who have embarked on the rigorous licensing process recently. They are:
Left to right: Roger Wadsworth (Southlake, TX); Rev. Kory Kinslow (Greenwood, AK); Melanie Cooper, (Youngstown, OH); Dr. Suzanne Carrol (Leander, TX)
Not shown: Levonda Brown (Beltsville, MD); Dorothy Harston (Starkville, MS); Lacey Lytle (Lewisville, Tx); Michael Pharr (Charlotte, NC), and several others. Welcome aboard! |

A New Look!
The Collegeplex also features a new web look. The program is designed for mature adult belivers. This as an alternative educational program with a ministry of formal preparation targeted toward bi-vocational leaders who don't want a major debt. The school was launched in 1975.
Institute of Advanced Management (IAM)
New this year is IAM. Most Biblical students and theologians know that God described Himself to Moses as I Am! Now, the Collegeplex expands with IAM. A major challenge for many leaders in ministry and community non-profits is organizational and management expertise. Responding to the Capacity Building Initiative proposed by the American Recovery and Rehabilitation Act, the Collegeplex has designed the Institute of Advanced Management (IAM). This is educational delivery that provides real-time, world-wide delivery of the most important topics in organizational and program development. You can visit the Collegeplex here, and visit IAM here. |
The Emmanuel Christ-based Academy enters the second year. As a web-based academy, and any web based ministry or business, it is essential to make the first page on the search of a major search engine. We are just about there. A3CEES has the proprietary knowledge on how to make this a reality. The school is currently, on the 3rd,4th, and 9th pages of Bing/Msn, Yahoo, and Google respectively. Given hundreds of academies nationwide, we are making remarkable progress.
Now, the Academy is featuring the Learning Institute of Future Employment (LIFE). This is a general educational program designed for persons who did not complete their high school education. It is completely web-based. It will operate in a support role for non-profit organizations that desire extensive web based deployment of their curriculum. It will also operate nationally as a stand-alone institute. Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom... (Proverbs 9:10).
