 Thanks so much for the condolences, prayers, visits, cards and emails concerning my father's home-going, and particularly to the Westside family for the excellent support. After an extended period of illness, my dad is free. As my son said, "we'll see him again." Meanwhile, I think of Jesus' words concerning those who look "backward" to the detriment of the Gospel. A period of mourning is healthy and appropriate, and it's different depending on the circumstances. Nevertheless, we must work while it is day!
