 Ministry Evaluation and Vision Time
We conclude the year with a brief overview of challenges, accomplishments, and visions for the future. Barna, the Christian think-tank determined that 100 million believers in America will receive some form of their religious provisions from the internet. As with commerce, the Internet has reshaped how we deliver the core of ministry. Decades ago I heard the theme, "Save the lost, Strengthen the Redeemed." This statement is like a bottom-line of what ministry involves. As each year ends, ministries should ask the question, "what were our efforts to reach the lost? What where our efforts to strengthen believers? And how well did we do these things based on our time and dollar investment. Since this is the core of ministry let's define them in more detail. Briefly. "save-the-lost" means as a ministry organization how often have we presented Jesus Christ. We are not responsible to save people. We our responsible to present Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit does the work within a person. Nevertheless, given a ministry's resources and capability how often has the ministry presented Jesus to people who do not know Him? Next, strengthening the redeem. Strengthening the redeemed could include many activities from Christian entertainment to simple words of encouragement. However, again the core of strengthening the redeemed is working with believers to live victoriously, which includes equipping them for sacrificial involvement in ministry. Again, no one can make believers reach for help when they need it, prepare to live victorious, or train for ministry. However, ministries have the responsibility to offer opportunities for these three. It is with these two core ministry standards (Save the Lost, Strengthen the Redeemed) that we consider A3CEES activities in 2009 and beyond. |
Faith-life Graduate Union, Milk-to-Maturity I cannot say enough about the need to instruct people systematically from A-to-Z through the most important principles in God's word. And then it must be done cyclically until principles are so imbedded it becomes natural to rely on them when decisions are made, and when crisis occur. Additionally, believers must be taught how to study. They must respect the literary structure of God's Word. He is the Author of authors. God's word must be approached with design and order. Milk-to-Maturity is God's work, and graduates will tell you, it is one of the most profound programs a believer can enter. Three ministers finished their Advanced Licensing Program, and became interested in the Faith-life Coach program requiring all 3 trimesters of the Faith-life Graduate program (David Corbit, Phil Muldrow, and Dr.Worl).

Video Aided Instruction, On-line Counseling and Looking toward the White House Faith-based Opportunities in 2009and Beyond

We've continued to improve our video capability. Anyone watching recognizes the advancements as we move forward. We have our hands on the real issues people face daily. So, we are answering the questions people are asking, and offering solutions to the real issues believers are facing. More importantly, we are seen as a ministry who represent the hope so obvious in the life of Jesus for persons shunned by society and religion. One recent request said it all. "I'm gay... I need direction... I need Jesus." This request was very important to us, because with the anti-gay efforts, it said two things. These persons sought us as a ministry who could help, and two that we represent Jesus.
We concluded our first full year with our Forgiven Offenders Ministry. It is our hope to reach the unreachable, those persons who are the lepers of our day. Our Forgiven Offenders Minister, Jackie Sparling, is a marvelous resource. Currently, she's working with a 1 800 hotline effort (800 773 4319)to create laws that make sense for persons involved with sex related offenses. This year a young teenager, Chaymar, became the face of this effort in a bizarre Church-camp incident. Our care-focus is both on victims, and persons who have a repentant and willing spirit. Often we lose sight that every soul needs Jesus.
Finally, we concluded the year by launching our weekly video session. Immediately, it became one of the most visited pages in the A3CEES web system. (Youth Minister, Joe Fields, and Marriage Minister, Vincent Williams of the Westside Baptist Church in Lewisville. Texas discuss youth and marriage topics to help believers nationwide).
Video Schedule: Jesus and Sexuality Final Session, Sunday December 6. Christ-based Weight Management Sessions begin December 13. Click here: Go to Weekly Session page on Christ based Counseling Website

The CollegePlex (College of Professional Christian Studies, Potters Bible College and Seminary), and A3CEES Christian College Affirmation Program
This institution is founded on 33 years of history and experience. Speaking of Collegiate level development for an hour such as this! A national depression, financial collapse, and complete uncertainty, we've designed the program for mature adult believers. We understand completely what is being offered at brick-and-mortgage institutions. And we understand the financial debt that can enslave believers. We've watched this for years, and the debt often does not match-up with the level-of-opportunity offered by the education, particularly for mature-adult believers with established career paths. Therefore, we offer an extraordinary opportunity for this unique group of believers interested in professional ministry. You prepare, God will open the opportunity! One of the top Christian Accreditation sites in the nation, our A3CEES Christian College quality assessment program is a source for students and the institutions seeking viable Christian recognition. Our team is in-place, and we envision an ambitious schedule of program evaluation in 2009. (pics: Davidson leads graduation procession in 1993, and Faculty Dinner pictured on right.).
