ISHOF Rennovation has support of the Beach Advisory Board. The Redevelop-
ment of ISHOF is the number 1 priority of the local advisory board and appears to have the unanimous support of the City Commission to move forward as a concept.

The city of Fort Lauderdale is preparing to go on a major spending spree in the latest effort to revamp the beach and ensure its future as a tourist destination.

As much as $63 million could be spent on a high-style makeover that also broadens the beach's appeal beyond simply sand, surf and sun.

The expansion and remodeling of the International Swimming Hall of Fame is one possible target for aid. Other possibilities include a fishing pier, a more-impressive entrance to the beach, more public parking and a wider promenade on State Road A1A. Dear Friends of ISHOF,

Please consider joining, renewing your membership or otherwise including ISHOF in your philanthropic efforts (http://www.ishof.org/membership/).  The shocking truth is that most people are christmas treeunaware that ISHOF is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. As a museum, the ISHOF relies on the generosity of others to help fulfill its mission of being the steward of national and international swimming history.

Warm wishes for Happy Holidays from the staff at your ISHOF.
