INSPIRE and EXPLORE on a weeklong yoga, sea, and surf
adventure with David Jewitt and Lucy Castell in the natural beauty of the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica.
Awaken to the songs of scarlet macaws at the gorgeous Boca Sombrero eco-retreat
center, situated on a secluded, pristine beach. On the southernmost peninsula
of Costa Rica, the Osa's virgin lowland forests and unpopulated beaches, are
home to hundreds of species of plants and animals. There's nothing like
practicing yoga on a gorgeous seaside deck to a symphony of birds, insects and
monkeys.
Located right on the water, the retreat center is a
launching point for waterfall hikes, beach and stream explorations, and bird
and wildlife viewing. For those more mellow moments, there's a large swimming
pool and plenty of cozy places to lounge with a book or to snack on a mango.
This is the perfect place for aspiring and experienced surfers, with a
beginner/intermediate break right outside our door and a world-class point
break, Matapalo, just 10 minutes away.
Boca Grande's twenty-acre beachfront property has been
designed to promote privacy and welcome wildlife. Luxurious open construction
houses and deluxe thatched-roof platform tents, provide comfortable
accommodations with steady ocean breezes and views of the surrounding sea and
mountains. Light, delicious meals, with an emphasis on local produce, will be
served.

Acro Yoga

For the adventuresome Valentine. Gaining popularity amongst yoga
practitioners
everywhere. Acro Yoga is characterized by its acrobatic sequences, it is
a style
that takes partner yoga to entirely new heights. Those of you who are
new to Acro Yoga will have the opportunity to
learn some of the fundamental concepts and moves for each of the roles
(flyer, base, and spotter) and practice with different partners. For
all you seasoned practitioners, we encourage you to come out and meet
other Acro Yoga junkies, exchange knowledge and experiment with new
moves, and exercise your creativity.
Acro Yoga can be highly addictive, and the beauty of it is, there is no
limit to how far you can go with this type of practice!

Have a Heart for Haiti
Santosha is proud to offer support for the "Have a Heart for Haiti" fundraiser on Thursday, February 11th at the Royal Canadian Legion.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to Doctors Without Borders to support the organization's ongoing emergency relief efforts in Haiti.
