Sacred Choral Concert at The Rose Theater - Get Your Tickets Now
| |
The Backlot Players is presenting a Sacred Choral Concert by the Youth Choir of First Baptist Church of Forsyth on Sunday evening, May 27th, at 7:00 p.m. at The Rose Theater. This 27-member choir is under the direction of Glenn Gregg, Minister of Music at FBC, and sings a varied selection of sacred music that will amaze you because of their young age. Tickets are $10 and are available in the church office at First Baptist, 95 W. Morse St., Forsyth, GA, or you may call Marion McDougall at (478) 972-1831 to make reservations. Half of the ticket sales proceeds will benefit the Youth Coir Summer Tour and half will benefit the Rose Theater Renovation fund.
The Youth Choir will be leaving the week after graduation for their summer tour, and will be traveling to Toronto, Canada. Along the way they will sing in churches, retirement homes, and in Buffalo, New York they will sing in a home for political refugees seeking asylum in the US or Canada.
Come out and support these dedicated young people as they do "missions in song". The choir consists of 27 singers (7th through 12th grades), a three octave handbell choir and a vocal ensemble. Plan to enjoy a wonderful evening of sacred music performed by a very talented group of teens.
