Record 91 Middle School Students for Rising Stars Awards Banquet

As is tradition, the Chamber will host a luncheon recognizing Monroe County Middle School students who have maintained all A's on their report cards throughout the school year. Each student receives a certificate of achievement and a savings bond gift certificate sponsored by a Chamber member business, professional, or organization.

Currently only 30 students have sponsorship with three weeks until the awards banquet. There are two sponsorships available including a

  • $50 which will display the sponsor's name alongside the students
  • $100 which additionally includes display of a business logo on all marketing material

We ask Chamber Members to consider partnering with the Chamber in sponsoring one of these very deserving students in recognition of their accomplishment. Not only will your contribution be acknowledged in the event program, your business will also be recognized as a Rising Star sponsor in The Monroe County Reporter, the Chamber's weekly newsletter, and the Chamber website for the remainder of the year to promote your business as a supporter of community education. Without businesses like yours, we could not make this possible. The Chamber wishes to thank our 2012 event sponsor Oglethorpe Power.
