The Forsythia Festival has opened the applications for our community stage. This year's festival is going to be a wonderful treat, and we want you involved. If you have a performance group or a band and would like to perform on our community stage, please visit our website, www.forsythiafestival.com. Remember, o ur festival stage is reserved for community performers to showcase their talent, whether it is music, dance, etc. These performers are not compensated for their performance.

Middle Georgia Consortium can assist business owners with funds to hire new employees

If you would like to hire new full-time employees there are funds available for an On-the-Job Training Program that may be the vehicle you need to get you over the hump. Presently, Middle Georgia Consortium, Inc. has money available to assist. To qualify for this assistance, the individual must meet either an income guideline, or be laid off from their last place of employment, live within the (Middle Georgia Consortium, Inc. (Area 11) for their assistance.

GDOT Connect Central Georgia Study
|
The Georgia Department of Transportation is conducting the Connect Central Georgia Study, a 31- county transportation corridor study examining access, mobility, and safety from Columbus to Macon to Augusta, Georgia. As part of the public outreach for this Study, GDOT has developed an Online Survey which seeks feedback on transportation needs and opportunities within the study area. We need your help with this outreach effort! We request your assistance in the Department's outreach by including a link to our study website with a request to complete the Online Survey located on the website.
