NEW ADDITIONS TO OUR WINE LIST
WE ARE ON A ROLL NOW!!
Yes, we continue to bring great new wines. This week I was very lucky to come across 3 FANTASTIC/OUTSTANDING wines. They are no ordinary ones: 2 Super Tuscans and one Brunello. And they all hail from Tuscany, Italy:
Libertá Toscana IGT 2008 Bottle $38
This is a Super Tuscan with a fabulous blend of 50% Merlot, 25% Syrah, and 25% Sangiovese, lending a new world style to an old world terroir. This is a great red wine with the plump dark fruit and chocolate character you would expect in a Merlot, complimented with French oak, dusty berry, black cherry notes, and a mild tobacco finish. With a consistent 88 point rating by both Robert Parker and Wine Spectator, this is a very nice Super Tuscan available for a modest price.
Ca'Marcanda Promis Toscana IGT 2008 Bottle $59
90 points Wine Spectator; 90 points Stephen Tanzaer. From the Prince of Italian Wines: Angelo Gaja - 55% Merlot, 35% Syrah, and 10% Sangiovese. "Medium-deep red. Complex, scented nose offers redcurrant, plum, mint and oregano. Juicy, silky and sweet, with highly nuanced flavors of ripe yet fresh red and dark berries complicated by aromatic herbs and flowers. Not hugely dense but wonderfully expressive, showing lots of mouthwatering acidity on the long, fresh finish."
Silvio Nardi Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2006 Bottle $89
94 points James Suckling; 94 points Stephen Tanzer; 93 points Wine Spectator. "Bright full red. Captivating nose combines plum, currant, sour cherry, dried flowers and nuts, plus a suggestion of white fruits. Then pure silk on the palate, with the terrific intensity and superb subtle sweetness of an outstanding bottle. Wonderfully spherical and mouthcoating sangiovese. The chewy, saline finish leaves the salivary glands vibrating. Tannins are in perfect harmony with the wine's fruit."

STRESS IN OUR KITCHEN??
Yes!!! Believe it or not, there is a ton of stress in every restaurant kitchen (unless there is no business, of course). I explain in the following video - Webisode 22:
