YOUR GENEROSITY IS HIGHLY NEEDED
It is just shocking to realize that anybody's life could change in a fraction of a second. This is what happened to the Berry family as they were returning to Houston from vacation over the 4th of July weekend. Josh and Robin Berry and their three children (9, 8 and 6 years old) were in their SUV when hit head on by an oncoming car. Now the three children are orphans and undergoing intense medical procedures.
We all have problems and tragedies in our lives but I don't think any of us have (and I hope we will never) experience the horror these children are going through.
The Berry family had strong ties in the Cypress community and there will be a Lemonade Stand and Bake Sale to benefit the family at Suburban Girl Gifts and Stuff in Cypress this Saturday July 16 between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Here is more information about this event: BAKE SALE

I didn't even know we had a small winery right here in Houston. We visited it on a beautiful Sunday and I was very impressed with the operation.

SPECIALS OF THE WEEK
This week we are featuring:
CARPACCIO DI TONNO - $7
Sushi grade tuna finely sliced and served raw with a small arugula salad. The salad is drizzled with fine balsamic reduction and the tuna with extra virgin olive oil.
INSALATA GRECA - $7
Tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, black olives, feta cheese, our vinaigrette...just a great summer salad.
FRITTO MISTO - $10
Shrimp, squid, and snapper breaded in our special mixture and flash fried. Served with lemon wedges.
CALAMARI SICILIANO - $18
Calamari delicately sauteed with capers, a bit of anchovies, tomatoes, garlic, black olives and served over linguini pasta. A bit spicy but you can request it very spicy or not spicy at all.
FILLETO MEZZANOTTE - $31
10 oz filet mignon delicately grilled to medium rare. Topped with our special sun dried tomato pesto and gorgonzola cheese. Served with choice of sauteed vegetables or pasta.
Our fantastic red velvet cake is always a great ending!

STEAK NIGHT ON THURSDAYS
It looks like this special has been very well received so we will keep it as a standing feature on Thursdays. We have expanded our selections to more than just one as well as our wine selections. Of course we will continue tweaking it based on your feedback so please let us know what you think.
