NEW WINE MENU - RIDICULOUSLY PRICED
We are embracing a new philosophy at Mezzanotte. We have been having so much fun, and enjoying so much our journey in the search for new wines, that making them all very affordable to our guests seemed only right.
So this week we are launching our new wine menu. We have have re-priced all our wines to levels that encourage everyone to enjoy world-class wines without having to worry about paying obscene prices. We have compared our prices with the most competitive restaurants in Houston and find ourselves the most aggressive of the pack.
So come on over and check out our new list and try some of our fantastic wines.
We have already reached 100 different wine labels, with an inventory of about 600 bottles on any given day. Our objective is to reach 200 wine labels by the end of the year with an inventory of over 1,000 bottles.
Our educational videos and wine events have become a major activity at Mezzanotte and we hope you enjoy them.

NEW SPECIALS THIS WEEKEND
We introduced our new menu a couple of weeks ago and stopped our specials to give you a chance to get familiar with it. But we are done now! so our weekly specials start again.
This week we have a few exciting dishes on our Specials Menu, including a Veal Chop Valdostano (stuffed with prosciutto, fontina cheese and golden raisins); a ravioli stuffed with chicken and pesto, and a Red Velvet Cake for dessert.

2011 TRAVEL ADVENTURE - PERU
Well...we are a month away from leaving on our adventure to Peru. On this trip we will be visiting Lima (my home town) for the first 4 days and then we will spend 3 days in Cuzco visiting Machu Pichu and everything there is to see there. The archeological visits are of great interest but, of course, the gastronomical experience is also very important!
Peruvian gastronomy just received the "Cultural Patrimony of the Americas" award by the OAS (Organization of the American States or OEA in Spanish) so our visit is very timely!!
By the way: we have space for a couple to come with us. I know is kind of last minute but if you are interested in joining us please let me know ASAP by sending me a note to gerry@mezzanotte.tv and I will give you all the details.
