NEW YEAR'S EVE CELEBRATION
We had a fantastic time on December 31st! Yes, we were really busy but I am not going to complain. I couldn't come out of the kitchen but until 12:20 am or so. The good news is that my wife Adriana was at Mezzanotte as well! I didn't miss the last 2 New Year's celebrations when I was at Capriccio and Adriana at Mezzanotte - those days are gone for good and, for that, I am really grateful.

WHAT'S NEW THIS YEAR AT MEZZANOTTE?
Lots! Just stay tuned - we are coming up with many new ideas: additions to our bar; additions to our wine list; new menu items; new menu, etc.
And please let us know if there is anything you would like us to offer. For example our good friend Art has been coming to Mezzanotte with his wife Adriane and their kids for at least 4 years now. And he just told me that he would love us to offer Bookers (Bourbon). No big deal! We now have Bookers! he should've told us a long time ago!
Another friend (little) John requested that we offer his favorite: Glenmorangie 10 (single malt). And now we offer it! So please let us know of your desires (food, wine, liquor, etc.) |
OUR SPECIALS
We are back at making real special "specials". Last week I introduced fantastic Escargots Bourguignone and Bife Cabrales. This week we are doing a great cheese plate with Taleggio, Gorgonzola Picante (considered to be one of the world best blues), and a unique British Derby made with sage. We are also doing a fantastic pasta (tagliolini) with lobster tail pieces, shrimp and cherry tomatoes in a saffron sauce. A succulent Veal Chop also made it into this week's special.
