Karenna moves easily between jazz, blues, cabaret and pop.  Her versatile style and extensive repertoire includes romantic ballads to latin favorites and  broadway tunes. Her very entertaining and dynamic style are a welcome treat to a relaxing dinner on a Friday night. She is a must see!!

Originally self-taught, Jeremy later earned a Bachelor's degree in Classical Guitar Performance and studied with Robert Guthrie at SMU where he completed a Master's Degree in Classical guitar. He has also received flamenco guitar instruction from several renowned maestros.  Jeremy maintains a busy performance schedule and we are very excited of having him perform at Mezzanotte. Don't miss him.

ITALIAN WINE MAKER WILL VISIT MEZZANOTTE!
 
Our friends from Tenuta Vitanza in Tuscany, Italy, will be visiting us on Thursday July 22 at 7:00 pm. The wife/husband team of Rosalba Vitanza (Owner and Winemaker) and Guido Andretta (Owner and Sales Director), will be talking about their fabulous wines produced in the Montalcino area and beyond. Of course we will be tasting 5 of their wines and will have some great food paired with them.
The wines we will taste:
  • Villa Giada 09 Moscato Di Asti
  • Tenuta Vitanza 06 Chianti Colie Senesi
  • Tenuta Vitanza 04 Brunello "Paturnie"
  • Tenuta Vitanza 07 Volare (Red Blend)
  • Drei Dona NV "Rosene" Lambrusco
Rosalba and Guido are exclusively visiting Mezzanotte on this trip to Houston. As I expect to be a very well attended wine dinner I ask you please to make your reservations in advance.  The cost is of $60.00/person.

TEXTING PROGRAM IS GOING WELL
 
I have been testing our texting program and is working very well. If you want me to text to your cell phone with last minute offers and events please send me your cell phone number to my email address:
 
 
I will not give your number to anyone. I will keep it in my texting database so that I can send messages with special offers or events. I usually include a key "word" to write on your check to get a special discount (only for members of the texting program). Try it out, you can always drop off if it is of no interest. 
NO SHRIMP???
Unfortunately no. We decided to remove all of our shrimp dishes from our menus at Capriccio and Mezzanotte until the situation with the oil spill normalizes. Prices of shrimp have gone through the roof AND, we don't want to risk using area shrimp until the dust settles. In the meantime we will be using scallops. This week try our Fettucine ai Capezante (which replaces our Fettucine ai Gamberi).
