MEZZANOTTE IS TURNING 4 YEARS OLD!
It is hard to believe that it all started on December 19, 2005.
The space was basically a concrete cube and everything had to be build from scratch. We put in A/C units on the roof, dug in the concrete behind us to put a grease trap, installed all plumbing and electrical, walls, floors, etc, etc. I never thought how complex this project would be but once we signed on the bottom line there was no turning back.
Here is the initial stage of putting in the bar:

You probably won't recognize this but it is the entrance to the bathrooms!

Fast forward...after a couple of months we could actually "see" the final product but there were still the details to work on (and this is what takes the most time)

Here is our bar midway through completion:

This is probably the happiest time of the year. After many delays and barriers we finally obtained the permit to open!!

And right before opening taking care of the most minute details:

Six pictures kind of summarize the process but believe me, there was a lot of sweat and tears (no blood, thankfully). And that was just the beginning. We had to deal with the most unimaginable situations. But here we are four years later.
