Meet Our Two New Summer Technicians!

Summer is here again, and with it comes another season of lake sampling through our Lakewatch program! Sophie and Lisa are our two new summer technicians. They will be busy traveling the province and sampling Alberta lakes with volunteers! If you are interested in having your lake tested next year click here for more information.

Sophie has a master degree with specialization in limnology, paleolimnology and hydrobiology.
She is from Paris and she worked for 2 years in France, Guadeloupe and french Guyana. She enjoys being in the field, especially in extreme environments such as high mountain lakes or Amazonian streams. She was a ping-pong, foosball and monopoly champion when she was younger and she likes to drink a good wine.
