It is one of the hottest summers on record and we know that most of our clients would rather be taking some vacation time as opposed to reading our regular newsletter. So here is a brief version with a couple of important news items and a quick peak at a Hot Product for the summer.

Flash Memory URGENT !- All of those popular USB Drives contain flash memory along with consumer products like cell phones and tablet PC's.
Over the past 4 months pricing has been stable. Recently Apple has been acquiring flash memory companies to protect their supply chain. Apple Computer uses over 25% of the world's production of flash and they are growing at an unprecedented pace.
Flash memory is priced like a commodity and that is why we have to quote pricing on a weekly basis. Our crystal ball says flash pricing is on the way up. If you are thinking about using USB drives this year, this is an urgent call to action. We also have some smart options so give us a call.
Cotton - The price of cotton peaked at $2.50 per pound in early 2011 and has recently dropped to $.67 per pound this month. This doesn't mean that the price of cotton shirts will drop by 73% but based on cotton future prices it may appear like we will see a reduction in pricing over the remainder of the year. However there are a number of other factors that could prevent this decrease from occurring.
Ever since the peak we have been helping our clients with alternative blended fabrics and we are constantly looking at the market to find the right fabric at the right price for you.
