Greetings!
There's a week's worth of great events and that's only this weekend, be sure to manage your time effectively or you'll miss an opportunity to sit with friends and family and enjoy the fun of the pre-holiday week events at Trinity Hall!
There are a number of different polls running that we could use your votes if you are online and have time to spare? We've spread the links throughout the newsletter to avoid overwhelming you with them all at once.
Our big buzz this past week was the amazing soccer played by FC Dallas when they visited LA Galaxy at home in Hollywood.... Mr Beckham didn't have a chance against the hungry & enthusiastic players of Dallas & Frisco. A 3-0 final score brings FC Dallas to Toronto this Sunday evening to play in the MLS Cup Finals! Watch for the party at Trinity Hall Sunday evening and probably lasting until Tuesday if all goes well!
Our once a year take over by the Ivy League is tomorrow with the annual playing of the Yale V Harvard Football match @ 11AM. The joint committee invite Alums of either university and their families to join them for the game to cheer on their Alma Maters! In the college football vein, the next match will be SMU's last homestand as they pursue a bowl berth, fans have been asked to wear WHITE as the team will be playing in the White / Red strip! Stop over for a bite before, or a celebratory Irish Coffee after! Sunday afternoon is our 3rd Sunday Ceili day, bring the family and join in with our friends from Dragon's Eye - Michael & Susan Harrison and the Trinity Hall Session Players, learning the basic Irish set dance steps and forms, its fun and everyone is laughing in no time at all! We'll look forward to seeing you this week, and hope that if your family is coming in to visit that you'll stop in during the week to show off your favorite Pub in town! |

You already know our long term, inhouse Rockstar Jack Thomason! Although he lost the locks, he's still a major player in local band phenom JokersDeck, before they head for California and a week or two of recording, they want to be invited to Open for the Edge Xmas Party! Not that we want to lose Jack to fame and fortune, but we are hoping we'd get a plug or two when they make it big and are playing at American Airline Center next!

There may not be too many surprises in the National matches, but you have got to stand up and applaud the Munster team for a great match against Australia and a dramatic winning score of 15 - 6
Perhaps we should petition for Munster to be allowed to compete as a nation-state in next year's World Cup!
These matches are broadcast through Premium Sports under Pay Per View agreements with a fee of $20 per person per day!

FC DALLAS - BIG MATCH SUNDAY 7:30 PM
COME ON THE HOOPS! Okay we do understand that not everyone is a soccer fan, but come on now, this is a local team playing in the National Finals and well deserving of your support & good wishes! If you are a soccer fan, call, email or text the local TV stations and ask them to highlight the amazing success of this team!
Sunday night, PUB QUIZ will be all handouts, not called from the stage to avoid competing with the match from Toronto! Come early for best seating, last weeks match was Standing Room Only and that was only the Western Conference Finals. This Sunday is the MLS CUP!

Irish Music in Dallas
Trinity Hall has been a proud supporter of the Irish music community since opening in 2001. Being a city that can host the 2nd largest Irish Festival every year, and not being able to find more Irish music around town is often a theme of conversation around the stage. Molly Maguires has shifted its entertainment and so there's a dearth of opportunities for some of our local talent, so we could use your help!
When someone you know is planning an event, tell them about the great bands that are here, if they need contact info we're happy to help, in fact most bands that play with us can be contacted directly off our Music page on the website.
With the Holiday season ahead, its a great time to make a recommendation to the office party planner, the local promotions manager or even the restaurants and bars you visit when not at Trinity Hall!

So, we told you there was a weeks worth of events to be had in just this weekend! And next with the holiday is no slow time either!
SMU Soccer is playing Sunday night in the 2nd NCAA Championship too, more news as the seeded team moves through to Quarters & beyond!
The Football team is going to give all the non-shoppers something to do on Black Friday, they're out of town but we'll have them on the big screen at 2:00PM Friday 26th for their last match of the regular season!
As is our usual schedule, we'll be closing the Pub for Thanksgiving Day, open regular hours the day before and after! After the big day at the house, bring the family out for a walk on Friday and stop in to see us!
