Greetings!
First, a big Thank You to the veterans in our community. We heard that the City of Dallas parade and review this morning was tremenduous and a well deserved salute to all who have served the Nation, and a belated Happy Birthday to our Marine Corp friends on the 235th Anniversary of your corps founding! Let us know you are in the house this weekend and we will take care of your dinner! Next up, CONGRATULATIONS Coach Schellas Hyndman of FC Dallas on being awarded MLS Coach of the Year, we are very proud to have gotten to know Coach Schellas when he was at SMU and are pleased as punch that he has received this recognition for his career in building and developing the culture of winning in soccer teams from College and now Pro soccer in USA! But we think that if the MLS knew him better, they would have held off until after the end of the season on the 21st before celebrating any team or coach individually! and lastly, great job to all the participants in this past week's Irish Stew & Soda Bread bake off at Molly Maguires, a great success by all accounts and we'll look forward to stopping in and tasting the award winning Stew! |

FC DALLAS - BIG MATCH SUNDAY 8PM
What an amazing season our friends from Frisco have had this year! The first time in many years that they are competing for the Western Conf Finals and they are proud to also have the Coach of the Year on their side too!
If you missed last Saturday night, you missed a party! The Irish Rogues did a great job of getting everyone in the mood for a hard fought battle, a couple of extra Rebel Songs did not go amiss, and when it was time for FC Dallas to play the UNBEATEN AT HOME Salt Lake Team.... they took it to them as their fans cheered them on from here! The cheering was soooo loud that FoxSoccer sent a camera team here to catch the excitment!
The Question Is...?? Where will you be this Sunday evening when FC Dallas challenges Beckham and the LA Galaxy, we hope you choose to be here with us! (If you are north of 190 and want a pub closer to home, stop by The Allen Wickers in Plano, we hear there may be a fan or two there...)

This week's matches start at 8:30 AM now that everyone is on Daylight Savings Time!

10:30 AM Ireland V Samoa
12:30 PM Wales V S. Africa
These matches are broadcast through Premium Sports under Pay Per View agreements with a fee of $20 per person per day!

DALLAS' OWN FIONN MACCUMHAILL GAA CLUB! Congratulations to the whole team, but especially our very own Corkman, Peter, who apparently defended the goal well and helped Dallas beat the Austin Team by an extra goal! With less than a year under ya'll it was an upset to beat the established Cowboys! Watch this space to learn when the Cup Tour is planned to visit Trinity Hall and the requisite drinking of plonk champers by all and sundry! |

I am sorry for mis-dating the Stew & Soda bread cook off in the last email, I thought it was Saturday until a minute after I sent our email and I found out that the event was on Sunday! If we got one reminder we got 25, and there is no truth to the rumor that we were trying to ensure there wouldn't be any competition for us on Sunday!
Throughout the holiday season, don't forget that we bake our Soda Bread daily and we always have sufficient Bangers & Rasher available for our guests to take home for a family fry-up!
On Wednesday 17th, we'll be in Grapevine with Off The Vine and their Riedel Glass tasting night! If you enjoy wines, you have got to check out this event! It is a little more expensive than other tastings but that is because you leave the event with four great glasses to enjoy the amazing range of flavors in the varietal specific glass!
