Greetings!
We have had a busy week, between a great Laphroaig Tasting with Master Distiller John Campbell and our guests here at the Pub, the fun of election night, the Film Festival that was running next door at Angelika and the kind weather that brought back the best reason for drinking Guinness!
On Sunday we had the opportunity to serve dinner to our friends from TIMES - Trad Irish Music Education Society, their invited instructors & 175+ musicians in attendance for the concert on Sunday evening. We don't often bring the show on the road, but the event at Midlothian Event Center was tremenduous!
Regular events continue this week as usual with Pub Quiz Trivia nights on Sunday, as many as 20 teams play with us every Sunday! Texas Holdem Poker on Mondays and of course our Live Music Thursday through Sunday! Visit the website for our calendar of events! |

FC DALLAS - BIG MATCH SATURDAY 9PM
Okay, we have one more chance at a local team to bring home the silverware this season! While we were very proud of everything the Rangers acheived this year, and we are quite sure there is no hope for the BOYS.... FC Dallas continue to surprise and WIN!
Last week they played the first leg of a home & away series against Real Salt Lake & WON, now they have to go to Salt Lake to finish the deal! Come watch with us on Saturday Night at Trinity Hall Dallas, we'll have the screen sdown, the volume up and lots of fans cheering on the team!
We're expecting a Fox Soccer Cameraman to be with us, picking up some of the fans feedback and cheering throughout the evening to show Sunday on the national Soccer channel!, so come dressed in colors & ready to cheer! |
DALLAS GAA On The Road This Weekend!
DALLAS' OWN FIONN MACCUMHAILL GAA CLUB! That's right, they're still paying and growing the squad too! And this weekend is the Celtic Festival in Austin and Kevin McCann and the Fionn Maccumhaill's are traveling to play the Austin Celtic Cowboys this Saturday. Wish them well and if you happen to be in Austin let a roar out for the Dallas boys! |
A Single Barrel Whiskey Tasting 12-15-10
Its been quite a while since we stopped to enjoy a full series of single barrel, cask strength whiskies at a single tasting, and when better to do it than the middle of December! This tasting will be on a Wednesday, it is $60 and the seven whiskies are all best in class, ranging from the 1964 North of Scotland 42 year port pipe finished spirit to examples from many of Scotland's top distilleries.
This may be a great early Christmas Present for yourself or perhaps one that you could give to Dad or Mom!
Block the date for now, and then keep an eye on Facebook & our Tasting page for the line up and early bird price discounts for pre-paid reservations! |

| Thanks again for your support! | |
We were disappointed this week to have to close the Trinity Hall in Allen, but want to say thank you to all who have sent nice notes, and especially those inquiring about our great staff that worked there. Most will have an opportunity to join us here in Dallas but it is a bit of a drive to make for work every day so it may not be everyone's first choice, and we have rescheduled our music & bands through Dallas so you won't miss any shows. We appreciate the good thoughts and want to say thank you to the guests of Allen that supported the Pub, and who have promised to come visit us in Dallas once in a while!
Don't forget this weekend! The Irish Rogues are playing 6PM - 9PM so we can enjoy the Irish SingAlong and the following FC Dallas match at 9 PM, we're packing alot in to Saturday knowing that we get an extra hour on Sunday! (Don't forget FALL BACK an hour before you go to bed!) The extra sleep will do us well when we are back up to watch the clash of English Soccer Titans - Chelsea V Liverpool on Sunday at 10AM come watch it live and enjoy a full Irish Breakfast while you're enjoying the match!
Last but not least! This Saturday is the IAS' Soda Bread & Irish Stew Cook Off at Molly Maguires in Lakewood. Stop by Saturday to offer up your own opinion of the best Stew, Best Soda Bread and of course the Best Dressed Presentation too! The Stew & Bread winner's recipe will be highlighted on Molly Maguire's menu for the full year, I wonder how they would feel about "Trinity Hall's Lamb Stew" in the middle of the menu? Ah you know us, we wouldn't do that...... Hmmm Be sure to come by Tuesday evening for the Irish American Society's Happy Hour 6PM - 9PM to congratulate the winners and to share a little pre-holiday cheer with the community! Thanks again for your support & patronage, we appreciate your suggestions and feedback and we will look forward to serving you again soon in the week ahead! Have a great weekend,
Cheers, Marius & The friendliest service team in town! |
