Greetings!
Okay, we may have mentioned a couple of times how much more fun the Patio is these days, once the temps started below 80 degrees, long may it last. Texas State Fair is open & rocking, be sure to check out the ways to save some $'s when you go this year! We've heard there are great deals for $'s off the ticket prices on certain nights, check out the Coke, Dr Pepper, Tom Thumb & McDonalds locally for details.
There is no easier way to get to Fair Park, and avoid all the parking hassles in the neighboohood, than a ride on DART. Come park and ride with us at Mockingbird Station, stop in for a pint before or a nice nightcap to end off the evening! Bring us your ticket Stub and we'll take 10% off your meal or dessert!
Not to be out done, Ft Worth had a huge party on last weekend too, with the inaugural Cowtown Celtic Festival, brought to you by the good folk that host the country's second largest Irish Festival, the NTIFin Dallas every March, the SCMA. A great response from all that attended and great that all the musicians know how to get there now, there'll be no stopping them!
There will be a little activity around Mockingbird Station this weekend, Texas Tech is in town to play Baylor at the Cotton Bowl, Rangers are playing for a sweep, SMU is home against Tulsa, USA plays Poland Saturday evening, and then Sunday we'll be hosting a wedding party at the Pub starting around 11AM and expected to stay with us for the day! We're open and you are all invited too, no gifts required, but there's always a chance that you may have to do the Chicken Dance with us! Start blocking your date books for a couple of events this month:
* TIMES - The Traditional Irish Music Education Society had a great night last Saturday and thank you all for your support of a fantastic bunch of musicians! Now their big deal is the actual O Flaherty Irish Music Retreat to be held over the Halloween Weekend at Hobitzelle Retreat. Amazing instructors, musicians from all over the country, and a truly awesome environment for learning and playing the best trad Irish music around!
Finally, as the nights come earlier and its a little cooler around the house, come on out and enjoy the evening with us at the Pub, whether its Pub Quiz Sundays, Poker Mondays, Tuesday Tasting or Music Thursday through Sunday, we'll find a way to entertain you! |

What a great week for Dallas & DFW! The Rangers break an 11 year tradition and make it through to the Post Season play, and then just run right over the competition on the away leg of the 1st Series! FC Dallas continues on their winning ways and preps for the last home game tomorrow and their first run at Post Season playoffs in a couple of years too! The weather has been amazing, the Fair is bringing lots of guests to town, and we have another great weekend of activities ahead of us!
Now that we made it through September, and all the back to school, and end of summer vacations, we're hoping to get back into a regular schedule again, Tastings on Tuesdays, Poker on Mondays, Pub Quiz Trivia on Sundays, Sessions & Ceili Dancing, all the fun reasons to stop by a Pub!
We hope you have had a great week and are ready to treat yourself with an afternoon, or evening, out with your friends, but we are really hoping that you'll include a stop at Trinity Hall Irish Pub in either Allen or Dallas along the way too!
Cheers,
Marius & the Pub Teams at Trinity Hall
