Greetings!

 Are you enjoying those night breezes? Nice to have a little cool in the air, a breeze on the patio, and that was truly a Harvest Moon tonight, and starting now the nights get longer and the days shorter, lots more Pub Time!

This weekend will be busy around town with more events and activities, Oysterfest up in Frisco, State Fair of Texas Opening Weekend, SMU V TCU on Friday AND then TIMES Music Gala on the same weekend too!

 

Thank you to everyone who came by Allen to support the Poker tournament for Icanfightcancer.org We are so proud of Jonathan, his friends and family and all the effort they have applied to this worthy cause! Bravo!

 

Sunday at the Pub was a blast, it seemed like every hour there was something different happening this past week, we had a great turnout for Cork's defeat of Down, then as many as 20 dancers joined in the Ceili, a great bunch of entertainers including the full BEHAN Brothers band took the stage and then we finished with Pub Quiz, it was like a full week in a single day!

 

We hope to have plenty of stories for you next week, but if you are in and around Dallas on Friday we recommend coming out to the SMU TCU match and then head straight for Dallas to catch the Lost and Nameless Orchestra! ( Saturday they visit Allen, so if you want to avoid the football crowd, plan a night out Saturday instead!)

 

SUNDAY NIGHT IS PUB QUIZ NIGHT!

The funnest way to spend an hour or two at the Pub for many of our families & teams that play every week. We start at 7:30 and run through 9:30 PM Lots of trivia, some you'll know and some you'll pick up for your next game! Free to play and lots o Fun!

Seven Hours of Music

 Once a year, TIMES gathers instructors from all over the country and occasionally directly from Ireland to come spend a weekend teaching the finer points of Trad Irish Music and Culture to DFW players & family

To pull this off takes a huge amount of volunteer hours, and a little bit of hard cash too! So... This Saturday evening the top bands from the Pub Roster come in to play a set each, volunteering their time & tips to TIMES

For the first time in many years SMU is opening up the General Admission area to accomodate the sudden rush of fans coming out to the game this Friday evening.
For Pre-Game festivities stop by the Pub and then take the Free Shuttle directly to the stadium, save your breath for cheering on your favorite team. TCU Ranked #4 in the country don't want to repeat their last visit!
Don't forget, we're only a hop skip and a jump away so plan to stop back for great music & a nightcap perhaps!

Traditional Irish Music has come along way in DFW, with the help and support of SCMA, Instructors, Players & Sponsors. The community grows each year, because of TIMES. We are proud to be associated with the Musician run organization, that is driven to expand the learning of the music, give new players plenty of opportunity to play and masters the stage to play on! Come out Saturday and support the bands who support the Traditional Irish Music Education Society!

FC Dallas continue their non-losing ways tonight clawing back from a 2 -0 deficit early in the match to bring it to a 2 all draw, and happy to have it!
There are only two more home matches in the regular season, with three more away before the Playoff Season begins.
For our Early risers, come catch EPL matches with Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool, and more at Trinity Hall. Dallas opens for the early matches with Allen opening at 8AM
