Besides a great article suggesting some of our favorite Fall brews (Rogue Hazelnut, Dogfish Head Punkin, etc..) they also put together a list of Ten Beer Bars in DFW and included Trinity Hall! It is a huge weekend in DFW and there are lots of things to do, both at the Pubs and around town, so it may be worth planning the days to avoid missing any of the fun or hilarity that you'll be reading about next week! First up, ICANFIGHTCANCER.ORG Poker Tournament in Trinity Hall Allen this Saturday night! $50 and $100 buy ins, great prizes to win, and a great local group with no overhead and only big hearts to support too! Saturday SMU plays Washington at home at 2:30 PM so there should be lots of coming and going around Mockibngbird Station. Don't forget if you are heading over to the game, stop in the Pub before and then ride the SMU station direct from the DART Station. Unless of course you already have reserved parking at SMU! We'll let the bands have the night off so they'll be nice and rested for the Harrison Benefit on Sunday, so instead we'll have Texas V Texas Tech up on the big screen, with volume too! Sunday Its Irelands top sports day with The All Ireland Senior Football Championship match at Croke Park between counties Cork and Down! Followed by a Ceili in Dallas, open session in Allen, then a variety of bands will be in to play for the afternoon to support Michael Harrison as he continues treatment, after which we will host a shortened 3 round Pub Quiz Trivia game for our regular Quiz Heads! |

Sunday morning we'll have the GAA ALL Ireland Football Finals on the Big Screen! This is a huge match between Co. Cork & Co. Down. We are delighted to have Dallas' restarted GAA Clubmembers with us to promote the club, find a few back up players perhaps and raise enough cash for a Club Uniform! There is a $20 PayPerView Fee for the match, which will include a raffle ticket for the Club drawings. Breakfast & Pint specials will be offered! |
 POKER TOURNAMENT
Jonathan Wilson follows up his TIP FOR CANCER night (Raised over $2,000 last month!) with his annual Poker Tournament. Prizes are donated from local businesses and we know there'll be a Wine Gift Basket from Off Vhe Vine, and a great Gift Card from Trinity Hall for some of the lucky players. In addition to a fun game of cards, you'll be entertained by the Irish Rogues Monthly Singalong! So, even if you fall out of luck for a hand or two, you'll be able to have a blast with the band anyway!

We are reminded every week about how small the world can be when you frequent pubs! We are surprised by guests who tell us about a friend that visited them in New York, told them about this Irish Pub and how big the Whiskey List is, and they came to see us! Or the guest who happens in and ask if we know someone from Malahide, or Mullingar, and 5 minutes later we connect dots and find out they grew up with one of the regular guests at the Pub!
The only way we know about the connections though is the chats that we have, with guests, staff, bands, vendors, friends and thats what makes it a Pub! Relaxing around friends, in a friendly and comfortable spot with something going on all the time!
