Weather Joke 57

The Indians asked their Chief in autumn, if the winter was going to be cold or not. Not really knowing an answer, the chief replies that the winter was going to be cold and that the members of the village were to collect wood to be prepared. Being a good leader, he went to his office and called the National Weather Service and asked, "Is this winter to be cold?" The man on the phone responded, "This winter was going to be quite cold indeed."
So the Chief went back to speed up his people, to collect even more wood to be prepared. A week later he called the National Weather Service again, "Is it going to be a VERY cold winter?" "Yes", the man replied, "it's going to be a very cold winter." So the Chief goes back to his people and orders them to go and find every scrap of wood they can find.
Two weeks later he calls the National Weather Service again: "Are you absol utely sure, that the winter is going to be very cold?" "Absolutely" the man replies, "Even the Indians are collecting wood like crazy!" | | This joke is intended to entertain, please do not take offense if you happen to work for the National Weather Service! We understand its a tough job.... Copied from http://www.free-funny-jokes.com |

Greetings!
Thanks for opening up our notes and especially for not clicking the spam button! I do want to remind some of our newer readers that how you ended up on this list is when your email address was written in on the credit card receipt at the Pub, and it used to be that we could read your name & add that to the record, but now with the super stealthy card systems your name doesn't show up on comliant systems! So, if you can take a minute to update the email info we can ensure that you are only getting the info you want from us and not all the different emails we may send, Soccer, Events, Community items, Whisky Tastings, etc.At the bottom of this page you will see the UpdateProfile/Email address link, click on that and you can update your complete profile as much or as little you prefer! We would much prefer to greet you by name if we could though! We have a couple of events coming up in the next few weeks, well worth blocking your calendar or better still inviting neighbors or friends to join you for here at the Pubs. As always, we greatly appreciate your referrals and recommendations, so please keep them coming! Regular events continue as usual with Pub Quiz Trivia nights on Sunday in Dallas and Allen on Tuesdays, we have over 20 regular teams in both pubs, all ages and backgrounds enjoy the night out! Poker is played Sunday & Thursday in Allen and Mondays in Dallas - fun Texas Holdem in a friendly environment. Check out our website for all the details and times! |

| Thanks again for your support! | | We appreciate your feedback and suggestions, and hopefully you find them in place on your next visit, most of the time! Adding another room or covering the patio is a little bit more involved but it doesn't mean we didn't hear you! We do have two polls running on the website as we speak;-
1st is about Whiskies and which are your favorites http://survey.constantcontact.com/poll/a07e30od2t5gdupls2n/start.html
2nd is about our new Loyalty/Gift Cards and what you think would be the best encouragement for our guests to frequent the pub!
Please visit them and let us know what you think! Have a great weekend, and hopefully a cooler one at that, be sure to stop in and visit with us. As we remember Sept 11th, 2001 and the guests that spent that terrible day with us, watching, listening & wondering, and knowing what the country has been through since, we also say THANK YOU to all who been in service to the country and community, whether as first responders, armed forces or public service. We know our lives, and livelihoods, would not be as secure without all of your efforts.
We'll look forward to serving you again soon,
Cheers,
Marius & The friendliest service team in town! |
