Greetings!
We, along with five hundred or so of our best friends, were disappointed to see the US's early departure from the World Cup tournament, our only saving grace was it wasn't as early as some of our European allies. The US Soccer organization has a lot to be proud of, not only the performance of the team but how the entire country appeared to finally understand the passion for soccer. Now, besides the ex-pats from the continuing teams, the watching parties will be about great soccer and less about where the teams come from. You may not come with a partisan team in mind, but you will end up cheering on one team over the other before matches end!
A couple of points other than soccer to share with you; The 2010 Texas Rose has been selected and will be visiting Trinity Hall Dallas on Sunday afternoon, 18th with the Irish American Society, We are hosting the Trinity Troubadours beer tasting in Dallas Tonight at 7:30 PM tasting the range from Unibroue of Canada! And the Pubs will both be closed Sunday for the 4th of July holiday reopening Monday bright and early!
For our soccer watching fans, we are offering a chance to arrange reserved front row seats for the remaining Quarter, Senmi & Finals matches, 2 sets of 4 seats + a table are available for each of the matches. The 2 sets will be auctioned off with the bids being donations to North Texas Food Bank. Whichever fan commits to the highest donation will be awarded the seat package.Bids can be emailed to NTFB@trinityhall.tv and top bids will be posted on the World Cup page. Auction closes at 6PM the night before the match - winner will be notified and the donation must be made by credit card to confirm awarding the prize. |

Seamus Stout visit Dallas on Friday with the Irish Rogues playing their usual 1st Saturday of the month slot in Dallas. Unfortuantely we have had to postpone the Open Session on Saturday, and we'll be closed on Sunday so there'll be no trad music this weekend, in Dallas
Finian's Rainbow
returns to Allen on Friday evening, and on saturday our Session players will kick in after the soccer match. |

This is our third World Cup finals tournament in Dallas, and each time we do it, we need three more screens!
Without a doubt, this has been the best year for soccer in the USA ever! More fans, more families and more news coverage than ever before.
