We had an absolute blast with the neighbors around White Rock Lake last weekend, two beautiful days of fun music, great weather, interesting vendors and of course the opportunity to meet new friends and fans of the Pub. The only thing we were missing was a selection of whiskies, quite an interest in the list we offer and the tastings we started up again this week.
While Ollie, Primo, Scott F and I hung out at the Lakeside Festival, Matt was finishing up his last days at Trinity Hall Dallas! Thank you to all our Pub Quiz guests and regulars that came out to wish him well with the move to Austin and many to say Thanks for four great years of taking care of guests and staff here at the Pub.
This weekend there are a couple of fun events like the SCMA Ceili in Plano with the Harrisons, fresh bands in both Pubs, some of the last soccer from UK on Sunday, and the kick off of a new Poker Night at the Pub on Sunday evening!

FA CUP Finals Sat. May 15th | FA CUP FINALS! Next Saturday Morning
Its is among the quietest day on the streets in the UK, everyone is inside catching what is the oldest domestic football competition in the workd! This will be the 129th FA CUP Finals played between Portsmouth and Chelsea with a start time of 9 AM Local.
Then after the big rush next week, there's the UEFA Champions Finals (Sat 22nd) and we also have the Europa League Cup with a Finals match this week on the 12th. The end of season top championship matches are some of the best footy that is played. Now we know you can enjoy it at home on your own TV, but truly Soccer is a fan game, you have to be around like minded cheering & jeering fans in order to get the full effect! Look for a special Breakfast incentive on our Facebook page on Wednesday or Thursday, we'll help cover a bit of your breakfast check - but you'll need the coupon! |

We now offer 2 Poker nights at both pubs, our regular house game with 2 rounds at 7:30 & 9:30 PM. Winners of the finals table win $25 & $20 Gift Certs to the Pub for the following week.
The game starts this weekend in Allen on Sunday, and starting at 7:00 PM each table is its own Tournament! there are 9 seats and up to 12 at the table, and each table runs until there is a single winner. The next table starts to playing in about 30 minute intervals, and once a game is done, its only a quick reset and set up for the sign up sheet before the next tournie begins!
