We're delighted to have Ireland's Call with us this week with a visit to Allen on Thursday night and Friday evening at Dallas. For our trad players, you'll recognize Mickey Dunne a regular instructor at TIMES O Flaherty Retreat and master of Uileann Pipes, whistles, fiddles, song and a great story or two. Mickey runs with some very seasoned Irish players when he;s at home, so he brought them along for a week in Texas! Ireland's Call will be with Danny Ahern & The Ironhorse Pub in Wichita Falls this  Saturday, headlining the Irish Street Festival! look forward to seeing & serving you again soon, and hopefully this weekend! Join us for great music in the true pub tradition, and its free too!

 

     The important thing to remember on Saturday is that its all just a little bit of fun! The merchants on Greenville have been producing the Parade and following street party for over a quarter century, and while the parade floats are not all considered family friendly, the jovial nature of the parade watchers generally is!

The Pub opens to host the 17th Society Float team breakfast at 7:30 AM and to prepare for the Ireland V Wales Rugby match which plays at 8:30 AM Breakfast will be offered through Noon when we change out to our limited all day menu - everything from burgers to Shepherd's pies -

 

      Live music starts as soon as the England V Scotland rugby match ends, with Jigsaw on 1st shift, followed by The Irish Rogues Singalong from 3:30- 7:00 and Jeff Phillips plays on the Patio through out the afternoon & then comes inside to entertain for the night.

 

      With our new neighbors in Deux - The Club, we will be a little more restricted on space than years past, so there may be a bit more of line than usual too. The patio bars will be open and for faster service, we recommend bringing cash, and please avoid using Debit Cards for running a tab - the banks can hold your authorizations as "pending" transactions for 72-96 hours!

 

       Once we get around to 7:00 PM the Pub should return to a busy but normal evening with full menu!. Don't forget, there's limited parking in the M Streets during the street festival so the handiest transport is the Free Shuttle from DART's Mockingbird Station, its also handy to allow you to stop in before you go visit The Dubliner & their friends, and stop in for a bite to eat before you head home. PLEASE PLAN TO BE SAFE THIS YEAR - Park & Ride and Grab A Cab - In fact save the Yellow Cab number to your cell right now!

     The big day is just that, a very busy day for the Pubs around town, and for those in the know, probably not the best day to come visit... When we are fortunate to have great pubs in the region year around, each with their own great range of music and food, and all with friendly caring staff, it may be worth sharing the holiday with us on a day in the week other than St Pats itself. However, we'll be here and the doors will be open for as many guests can fit, and we'll look forward to seeing & serving all who join us.

      It is our custom to allow families and minors to share the early part of the day with us, and then as the evening approaches switch to over 21's only. If you have children/minors in your party, generally Lunch and early afternoon is more family friendly with higher beverage consumption from 5 PM on. Again our recommendation would be to share the celebration with your family and us on Sunday afternoon, when the pub is clean, the servers are not rushed, there's less beer being spilled, the language is less blue and the music is much easier to hear! 

 

      Due to the reduced space, we can anticipate longer lines to come in and for service on occasion so avoid the cards and bring cash to speed your transactions at the bar!

A cover charge will be imposed once the Pub is full and a wait line begins, and while we want everyone to always feel like a VIP at Trinity Hall, please be patient and understand that we cannot move you ahead in the line because we like you! (Or, just becuase your friends are inside and waiting for you, unfortunately so are everyone elses too)
