TARTAN DAY
Monday, April 6th
In place of our usual whiskey tasting on the first Tuesday, we will host a Macallan Reception on Monday 6th instead! Tartan Day is the day set aside by Congress to celebrate the heritage of the Scots in the USA.
While not a full tasting we will taste through the 15 & 17 year old Fine Oak expressions followed by the 12 & 18 year old Sherry Cask finishes. (We'll start with a glass of Famous Grouse as everyone arrives.)
$ 25+ tax & tip per person with Reservations.

| Greetings!

Thank you for a great holiday week, its taken the team and I almost the entire week since to get the place back under control! When asked about the week, if you weren't in town, you missed the best weather on the day in years. Delightful 75 degrees, light breeze and not a rain drop in sight!
I apologize for extended delays in service, especially for our Lunch Guests, hopefully your bosses were a little lienient knowing that you had been to a Pub for lunch, on St Patricks Day and that you actually came back to work after!
We are fortunate to have our friends from Oklahoma - Kilavil who opened the stage at 10 AM and then entertained on the west patio during the early afternoon, Jeff Phillips who kept our outside guests involved until he went hoarse! Jigsaw our favorite Trad Irish group, The Irish Rogues Our sing along specialists and of course Seamus Stout to keep us on our feet all the way to the end!
Our patio bartender volunteers donate 100% of their tips to St. Baldricks Event, this year that will account for just short of $1,500! Trinity Hall then matches the donation in recognition of our volunteers hard work over the weekend.
Read on to learn more about Saturday's event with St. Baldrick's team in Dallas - Jaimie & Andy
Our tasting schedule will get on track as we get towards May. We do have a Monday Night Macallan mixer - bring your Kilt!- on Tartan Day (April 6th) and a great opportunity to meet a leading winemaker & vineyard owner over a food & wine pairing on April 1st (Wed), Belekus Beer Tasting on April 14th and the Trinity Troubadours return 04/28!

Who Is The Best Pint Pourer in DFW? - Izzy Delgado!
After six rounds of tough pint pouring it all came down to a pour-off between Kelly of The Filmore Pub and Izzy from Trinity Hall!
By the smallest margins a decision was made and another trophy was added to the Back Bar of the Pub.
The Observer did a great short video on the event, you can view it on the front page of our website.
