Good evening ,
Welcome back to the Pub News corner! It's were all the good gossip usually ends up or starts. Well a great time was had last night with the coinciding of the Irish American Society Happy Hour, The Dallas Symphony & Guinness Head Brewer Fergal Murray in for a visit too, and so soon after a full moon that there was still a little strangeness in the air....
Thank you for all the stopped by and for all the laughter you added to our night!
As you know, the funds raised last night by the raffles & pint pourers was all donated to St Baldricks' Foundation, whose main event here at the Pub is on Saturday March 28th. Because we didn't have a single Pro-Am winner, the Pub's $250 donation Prize was made on behalf of the "Trinity Hall Rafflers" to boost the final total.
The holiday weekend is here and the fun is about to begin! We have lots of bands, plenty of beer and a couple of seats to fill so we hope you're not overly tired after last weekend's North Texas Irish Festival - the biggest yet by all accounts! - See below for band schedules and links to our Events page for more details.
A full weekend is planned with the Greenville Parade & Street Party on Saturday (Stop over to warm up at the Pub in between!) then on to the Shamrock & Stars Dinner Dance at the Adolphus Hotel, back to the Pub for Mass and Brunch on Sunday morning, a brief respite to catch your breath and then back out for the rounds on Tuesday March 17th!
Cheers,
Marius -
Lead Apprentice to the #1 Guinness Pouring Pint Phenom in DFW!

This Sunday only! A Special Day out for the family in the midst of all the fun of the holiday, this is a fun day for the real Irish to hang out and enjoy each other's company and catch up on another year!
Fr. Hogue will be saying mass at 10:30AM and based on weather reports we will anticipate that this will held inside, if we get the improvement in weather, we'll host it outdoors!
Directly following Mass, we start the Brunch with Mimosas, Juice & Coffee served, as we put the final touches to the Buffet stations. We will be entertained by our friends from Jigsaw, Ken, Peggy & Kevin playing trad Irish through the event.
Once everyone settles into a seat, we'll open the Brunch Stations and guests may wander at will! To accomodate our younger guests & families we will be offering Children's Plates of Chicken Strips or Fish Bites with Fries.
Prices are $29 for Adults & $8 for Childrens' Plates
Price includes Tax, Tip & $7 per Adult donation to the Irish American Society General Fund
This is event is open to all, IAS Members, Families, Friends and Guests of the Pub! Perhaps you'll get to know some of our IAS Members and decide to join up yourself!
RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS EVENT, Pre-Payment is preferred to avoid delays at door upon arrival.
PLEASE CALL 214-887-3600 (Avoid calling on Saturday due to the noise in our Pub that day...) or email me to BRUNCH@TRINITYHALL.TV

| The Quiet Irish! Its okay to be quiet on St. Pats, its the way most of us grew up at home.
Did you know that the St Patricks' Day Parade is an American invention, one that started here in the early 1900's and only started in Ireland in the 60's!
If you are old school and would rather have an enjoyable Lunch, with great service and even better company... may we suggest a reservation with the World Affairs Council of DFW for a Luncheon featuring His Excellency - I bet he gets a ribbing for that title - John Bruton, European Union Ambassador to the USA on March 17th at 11:30 - 1:30 PM at the Crescent Court. You can always bring him by the Pub for a Pint afterwards!
And No There Is No Truth To The Rumor That This Is A Picture Of Ray, checking out a Podium.....

OKAY HERE IS THE NO FRILLS SCHEDULE FOR THE EVENTS OVER THE WEEKEND UNTIL TUESDAY!
HOUSEKEEPING ISSUES:
It is expected to be cooler than usual, Chaucers will be available should it become nasty outside and we can't enjoy the patio.
Like last year, we don't expect to charge a cover for the Pub, unless the line is long and we just can't help it. Also, on Saturday & Tuesday families are welcome until 3 PM, after 3 PM only those over 21 will be permitted. (ID Required) (Those already in will be allowed to finish their food & drink with us at their leisure and will not be summarily tossed out)
We serve draft beer only, in plastic cups, and its not the best service we have to offer. We serve a large menu, but not all the items on our regular menu, the good news is we give you real silverware & napkins too! Its a fun day and we hope to share the holiday with you & yours.
Whether here or at parties around town, please be safe & decide how you are getting home, before you go out!

St Baldricks Foundation Fund Raiser - We Need Your Hair! No not your actual hair, but we do want you to volunteer to shave it all off to raise funds for this great charitable foundation that searches for the cure to Childrens Cancers.
There is a great website to review the work of the foundation and also to offer a donation on line in the name of one of the events Volunteers!
This year St. Baldrick's Day will be on the last Saturday of March, (28th), starting at 10 AM and continuing until the last head is shaved! You will have an opportunity to meet the volunteers and local organizers at many of our events throughout this month as we offer raffles, wristbands & other fund raising efforts to assist and support the great cause.
REMEMBER, The Patio Bar staff on St. Patricks Day donate 100% of their tips to the foundation and Trinity Hall Irish Pub matches their donation dollar for dollar!
