Good evening ,
Thank You for a great night out this past Thursday, we were delighted to have our freinds from Guinness on hand to present the new "Stanley Cup of Beer" the Top Pint in DFW award to the managers & barteam at Trinity Hall Irish Pub! We get to keep the award for the year and then we have to defend our pints against all comers.
You may have missed Derek Warfield and The Young Wolfe Tones, but you'll be hearing about it for a while. A great concert, in the cosy setting of the Pub with friends and regulars in great voice! Keep an eye on your emails to avoid missing the next big party.
Holly & I got to take a side trip out to California last week and had a chance to stop in to a great restaurant in Yountville - Hurleys! - If you happen to be in the wine country stop in and say Hi, this place does St Pats well with a full Menu in Gaelic! You may spot the cap on Holly when she's on the patio for St Patricks Weekend!. (More Pictures to follow)
NO PUB QUIZ on this Sunday! We are closing to the public at 5 PM for an annual dinner event for some very good friends of the pub, known to their guests as "Made It Another Year Celebration" who wouldn't want to be part of this. Unfortunately that does mean no Pub Quiz this week, but that also means BONUS PRIZES next time (March 15th)
Don't forget its the first weekend of March so that means a couple of things....#1 ITS N.T.I.F. Weekend and #2 THE IRISH ROGUES Singalong Saturday 8:30PM
Whether you are coming, or going, this weekend, we hope you have a moment to stop in and share a pint with us and catch us up with all the things happening in your life! Thank you for another great week in the Pub business, we'll look forward to serving you again soon!
Cheers,
Marius -
Wine Country Chauffeur & Occasional Wine Taster

Who Is The Best Pint Pourer in DFW?
The word is traveling! Dallas is pouring great pints and the brewery wants to meet the pourers, in fact the Head Brewer Fergal Murray will be here himself to chair the judges table!
The week before St Pats! Mar 10th
Two Contests will be held:
Professional: Any bartender, server or manager from the trade in DFW can enter via their Guinness Rep. The challenge in pairs will be to pour your best pint, two part pour, clean glass no drips and avoid allowing the glass or beer hit the nozzle of the tap. Judges will award points and winners will continue. Using the same bracket as NCAA competitions.
PRO-AM Celebrity Pour Off:-
Warming up the taps will be the leaders of local associations & organizations. Spectators & family members can enter drawings and raffles to support their candidates. All funds raised will be donated to St. Baldricks Foundation at our annual Fundraiser on March 28th!

St Baldricks Foundation Fund Raiser - We Need Your Hair! No not your actual hair, but we do want you to volunteer to shave it all off to raise funds for this great charitable foundation that searches for the cure to Childrens Cancers.
We are proud to have been a host for this local event each year for the past five, raising in excess of $100,000 in each of the last events. There is a great website to review the work of the foundation and also to offer a donation on line in the name of one of the events Volunteers!
This year St. Baldrick's Day will be on the last Saturday of March, (28th), starting at 10 AM and continuing until the last head is shaved! You will have an opportunity to meet the volunteers and local organizers at many of our events throughout this month as we offer raffles, wristbands & other fund raising efforts to assist and support the great cause.
REMEMBER, The Patio Bar staff on St. Patricks Day donate 100% of their tips to the foundation and Trinity Hall Irish Pub matches their donation dollar for dollar!
This year we have the added event of the Guinness Pour Contest and all funds raised during this event will also be donated to the foundation!

We'll let you in on a little secret too, If you would like to meet the boys and have a chance to hear their story all the way back to 1963, stop in at Trinity Hall Irish Pub on Tuesday the 10th when the Symphony team are hosting a quiet meet & greet for the band here at Trinity Hall! They won't be singing or playing with us - that's why you need to buy a ticket to the Meyerson! - but come hear how a couple of lads from Northern Ireland meet up in Toronto, Canada and start what becomes a 30 year band famous for songs like The Unicorn! We'll discourage autographs or trying to grab them for pictures, but its a great chance to meet world famous ambassadors or Ireland's culture!
