It is that time of year when we start the process of begining our training for toasting, drinking, singing & carousing, and this week we'll start the training with Toasting!
Each year the Pub takes advantage of the Guinness company's efforts to beat the World Record for
World's Largest Toast, by inviting guests, friends and family to compete for the honorary (unpaid!) job of
Trinity Hall Irish Pub - Toastmaster 2009
Each hour from 8 PM until 10PM you may enter your name for a shot at stardom! We'll invite you to the stage to offer your toast. The winner will be determined by Guest reaction, so it may be worth bringing a couple of friends along to cheer & rave! The hourly winners will be invited back one more time at 11:00PM to offer the Toast of the year, and the crowd will choose their leader for 2009! Bring a toast or we'll have some you can use, the wittier ones always win.

USA vs Mexico - This Wednesday
No this doesn't mean war, it does mean a great Soccer Match!
Wednesday evening at 6 PM the USA Plays Mexico in the World Cup Qualifiers. The match will be free to see and the party is being hosted by our friends from "American Outlaws - DFW" the national fan club with a strong local following!
Come along for a great match & super specials, surrounded by fans of Uncle Sam! Free To See Soccer, & family friendly too!

TWESTIVAL & CHARITY:WATER
THIS THURSDAY IN DALLAS AT MOCKINGBIRD STATION!
6:00 PM - 9:00 PM Includes Special Angelika Screening, Comedy Show at Hyenas and Live Music outside!
1st What is TWESTIVAL? This Thursday, 12 Feb 2009, 100+ international cities will be hosting a Twestival to bring Twitter communities together in an effort to raise money for charity: water. Twestival is organized 100% by volunteers around the world and 100% of the money raised from these events will go directly to support charity: water projects. By rallying together globally, under short timescales, for a single aim on the same day, the Twestival hopes to bring awareness to various global crisis. (Twitter.com is an online Micro-Blogging site that is used by everyone from CNN to your local wine shop)
2nd What Is Charity:Water? its a non profit organization bringing clean, safe drinking water to people in developing nations. We give 100% of the money raised to direct project costs, funding sustainable clean water solutions in areas of greatest need. Just $20 can give one person in a developing nation clean water for 20 years. Check Out Charity Water's Website for more info!

Best Pint Pourer in DFW?
The word is traveling! Dallas is pouring great pints and the brewery wants to meet the pourers, in fact the Head Brewer Fergal Murray will be here himself to chair the judges table!
The week before St Pats! Mar 10th
Two Contests will be held:
Professional: Any bartender, server or manager from the trade in DFW can enter via their Guinness Rep. The challenge in pairs will be to pour your best pint, two part pour, clean glass no drips and avoid allowing the glass or beer hit the nozzle of the tap. Judges will award points and winners will continue. Using the same bracket as NCAA competitions.
PRO-AM Celebrity Pour Off:-
Warming up the taps will be the leaders of local associations & organizations. Spectators & family members can enter drawings and raffles to support their candidates. All funds raised will be donated to St. Baldricks Foundation at our annual Fundraiser on March 28th!

Okay, I almost forgot to highlight our new Menu items added just this past week! The Chocolate Dessert we have been waiting for arrived and has done a great job this week - huge sales for the Marquise De Chocolate! Also added the Salmon Salad returned, our Mini Buccos (4oz Pork Shanks) and Sliced Pot Roast are all there now! Visit our website and you can download the menu files.
