1759 Society Guinness Drinkers Out Tonight!Good Afternoon

Its August 28th and the last Thursday of the month and that means tonight is the 1759 Society gathering night! Even if you are not a member of our friends at the local Guinness Appreciation chapter, you can still join us for great fun this evening. We offer a special price on Guinness of $ 4.50 from 6 PM on, we'll have sports on the Big Screen until the keynote address by a candidate for USA President. (Beer, Fun & Politics all in the same place!)

Speaking of politics, please visit the pub website and click on Chef Oscar's video, we cannot believe that he was able to be working on this project at the same time as we were changing menu items and  his son Kris & wife Krystle were celebrating the birth of their first child Katelyn Grace G. (1st Grandchild for Peggy & Chef O.)  So, when you see him this weekend - he is the one in the White Jacket, Tall Toque & smile on his face- say Congrats & Happy Birthday!

Its a big weekend in the Mockingbird Station area, we've got SMU Football tomorrow evening, Southlake Carroll v North Plano on Saturday, A Huge Pub Quiz night on Sunday (lots of Teachers, Post People & GMen have the day off on Monday!)

Thanks for a great summer, we do believe that you have many choices and we appreciate you visiting Trinity Hall for an evening out!

SMU COACH JONES 1st GAME!
Can't get to Rice tomorrow?

Coach June Jones brings the 08 Mustangs to the field  We're not known for College Football but tomorrow we will be playing the SMU V Rice match on the Big Screen, celebrating Coach Jones inaugural match with the Mustangs.

We have been listening to a couple of locals who have seen practice and they think there is something new afoot at SMU!
Join us Friday for Dinner & Game!
(Music will start after the match!)

Intnernational Rose of Tralee 2008Although our Texas Rose 2008 was not selected as this year's Rose of Tralee, we are very proud of Roisin and her efforts on our behalf!
The Rose of Tralee 2008 is a young lady from Tipperary, Aoife Kelly, the first ever Tipp Rose to make it to the finals!

We look forward to Roisin's return to hear how the trip went and how much fun was had on the Rose tour!

WHISKY TASTING
Glenrothes Tasting on Tuesday

Glenrothes Tasting on Sept 2nd

We are having a great tasting next Tuesday Sept. 2nd @ 7:30 PM there are a couple of seats left, however they must be purchased on line - visit our webpage & click on the Purchase ticket  icon under the same image as you see above.

There has been a change in the line up, the 1979 vintage 23 year old, we had hoped to pour did not survive its trip to Texas and will be replaced.  We are still quite confident that the other vintages are in and should be ready to pour.

Visit the pub's website for more details.
GAA FOOTBALL SEMI FINALS

All Ireland Semi Finals This Sunday!
You missed a great match if you didn't see last week's match between Cork & Kerry. 2 Goals in the last 3 minutes of the match which brought the teams to a tie, allowed for a replay of the match this Sunday at Croke Park. The good news is that you have the chance to see both Semis on the same day because directly after the replay we will get to watch Tyrone take on the Purple Horde from Wexford!

The winners of the matches on Sunday will play in the Finals in Sept.
$20 Pay Per View for the matches (both games 1 fee)
Small Batch Bourbon Dinner

Small Batch Bourbon Dinner on Sept. 11th
Jim Beam's family brought the small batch Bourbon whiskies to the market a number of years ago. These are handcrafted small batch whiskies that are aged up to 9 years. The one named Bookers is the only cask strength bourbon sold on the open market.

We are hosting a dinner program with the newest Brand Ambassador - apparently Virgil has decided to follow his dreams to another career - and we will offer a reception + 4 courses!
