Greetings!
The heat is on and in full force this week, a great excuse to turn off the hotplates, ovens and grills in the house and head for the Pub for dinner! No reason to warm up your house when we can all hang out in the Pub instead!
This weekend is Wine & Roses Sunday at Trinity Hall, when the Irish American Society gathers the community to celebrate the selection of our Texas Rose! Become a part of the tradition of Irish Communities around the world, one of our daughters, sisters or colleagues attends the International Rose festival in Tralee, Ireland and offers the home country our greetings & news!
Roisin Mulligan at The Selection Ball in Dallas
We have had a couple of soccer schedule challenges during the pre-season friendlies, double check schedules on the website before heading out. There are some new soccer channel listings, unfortunately they are not all fed to the US. But EPL starts in a couple of weeks and then we'll have soccer every weekend!
Thanks for a great tasting on Tuesday, Holly & Becky entertained and showed the fun wines from Spain & Portugal - When was the last time you had a delish Crianza? New Tasting schedule will be posted for August before the next email, but read below about the MIRACLE FRUIT TASTING next week!
Finally, we had out friends at Chapman Air in this week and they have tuned up our A/C, its all charged up, the Condensers & coils have been cleaned and we expect to have chilly air no matter how many guests show up! So, come visit and chat awhile, we're looking forward to serving you,
Cheers,
Marius

| MIRACLE FRUIT TASTING! |
|
Okay, its not the cure for all that ails us, it is however a most unusual berry that doesn't grow around here. The Miracle part of the name is based on the impact that pulp of the berry has on our tastebuds!
TUESDAY AUGUST 29th @ 7:30 PM
Miracle Fruit has been around for decades, but is going through a recent publicity burst as a result of Tasting Parties being held in New York & LA. After chewing the pulp of this little berry, your tastebuds will not register bitter or sour flavors! So, limes taste like candied limeade, Guinness tastes like chocolate shake, Horseradish takes on a sweet tang, its pretty funny!
We'll host a limited seating tasting on Tuesday evening with a panel of 10 items & beverages, we'll taste them in original state, then try the berry and then taste again to see the results, each palete is different so its fun to see how it impacts others.
Miracle Berry's are legal, effects last 30minutes -1 hour, no intoxicating effect other than the hilarity of chomping on Lemons!
$ 25 Tasting Fee
Seating is limited due to the number of Miracle Berries available. Pre-Paid Reservations must be made by clicking here, this tasting is not on our website!
We will call to confirm and to accept payment information. | |

THANK YOU VERY MUCH for helping us with the AOL online poll which just this week awarded Trinity Hall our 3rd in a row Best Beer Selection in DFW award! We know we could not have overcome the competition from our friends in Ft Worth wihout the extra help of Judy, Joe, and all our supporters online!
We hope you are having a fun summer so far and you're taking advantage of all the summer festivals, concerts & of course, the odd visit to the Pub for Music, Tastings, Poker, or the ever popular Sunday Night Trivia!
