Our friends at Main Street Baking Company, Jasmine & Fabian opened up their first bakery in Grapevine around the same time as the Pub was being built. They offer a hand crafted artisan bread & bistro cafe experience that shouldn't be missed!
In fact, they do it so well you can visit them in 3 locations around the metroplex including Legacy, Richardson & the original in Grapevine.
Stop in and say to Fabian & his wife Jasmine. Visit their website, check out their menus & breads!

Greetings!
We're hosting the Celtic Heritage Festival Fundraiser tomorrow afternoon starting at 3 PM and continuing through 8:00 PM. The Festival board are bringing along 3 great bands, raffle prizes and information about the upcoming festival - now in its 17th year. So come enjoy our Air Conditioning, some live family-friendly and smoke-free inside, music and the usual high jinks!
There will be Rugby replays in the Pub both Saturday & Sunday morning - the same match both mornings New Zealand V South Africa - some of our Firefighter friends can't make Saturday so we'll show it just for them on Sunday morning!
Thank you for all your help with the AOL online poll, the voting has closed and the results will be announced on July 22nd, but prior to closing we appeared to be winning our section with a 5-6% margin.
Don't forget to block your calendars for Sunday July 27th, we'll be hosting the Irish American Society's Wine & Roses event and you'll have a chance to introduce Roisin Mulligan - Texas Rose 2008 to your family!
Heat reminder, its forcasted to spend most of the weekend up over 100 degrees, this is not the time of year to be working hard in the yard. This is the time of year to enjoy an afternoon at the Pub, a light lunch and some live music (we have our session players on Sunday 3PM- 6PM), or come out a little later and enjoy Jed Marum tonight, or Pub Quiz on Sunday evening!
Whatever your plans are, we hope you have a great weekend, we'll look forward to serving you again soon!

| PUZZLER DRAWING!
Who would have thought we had that many mathematicians in our community, thank you for such a great response to our holiday weekend Puzzler! The correct answer, as you correctly worked out, was the Younger Daughter received more. By adding the fractions and percentages distributed the net amount left over was what the younger daughter received, that allow us to figure the estate at 30,000 and thus the older daughter received 5,000 (I have it on good authority that the older daughter was fine with that, as she was already very succesful in her field of endeavor and already had secured the family china prior to the cash distribution!)
THE WINNER OF OUR $ 100 Gift Card ........ J.B. Mullen Congratulations!
(We had so much fun we'll probably do this again, and soon!) | |
