Greetings!

Okay, we've left you alone long enough, did you realize that we haven't sent you a note in almost 3 weeks? Truth is, we were all busy getting our taxes done, while entertaining the crowds from the AFI Film Festival and enjoying the early evening guests back on the patio with our recent spate of delightful Patio weather! So, we don't want you to forget who or where we are, we want you to come visit this weekend and bring your friends.

This weekend we have Jeff Phillips back with us entertaining the Pub with his Guitar, Songs and Spiel! He'll be followed Saturday by Jed Marum, and his brand of Americana & old Irish. Sunday, of course, is Session Day and well worth the visit!

We'll leave the TV out in the Provosts so someone can keep an eye on the Mavericks for us, we're hoping they're still around for Sunday evening so our Pub Quiz guests get to watch a game while Matt's scoring the rounds. We've changed up the Trivia quiz a little and will be worth coming by to play again!

Great new beers on draft, fun tastings planned in the next weeks, and more Birthday parties than any other pub in Town! We'll look forward to seeing you soon,

Victory for Manchester United will all but clinch a 17th league championship and record 10th Premier League title for the Red Devils. They actually need four points, but their goal difference advantage of 18 over second placed Chelsea is worth another point.

Chelsea go into Avram Grant's 50th match in charge, on the longest current unbeaten sequence in the Premier League of 18, and on an amazing 80-match undefeated home league streak, stretching back four years and two months.

Both clubs are chasing the Champions League/Premier League double. Indeed this match could be a dress rehearsal for the Champions League final in Moscow. United come into this clash on the back of Wednesday's goalless draw with Barcelona in the Nou Camp in the first leg of the semi-finals; Chelsea are also all square, courtesy of John Arne Riise's late, late own goal against Liverpool, at Anfield on Tuesday.

Heineken Cup Rugby
