St Baldricks Day '08 At Trinity Hall Irish PubGreetings!

First, a huge thank you to all our guests that made it by the Pub last weekend! We had a great time serving you all, the weather was fantastic and a better group of guests we couldn't have asked for.

You may have noticed a marked increase in staff moving around in Trinity Hall T-Shirts, helping us with clearing tables, resetting after guests left and generally helping the guests & staff? Well here's a big shout out to them too... THANKS! Many of our friends, family and running mates came by to assist by manning the Patio Bar, T Shirt Concessions and working on the floor.  They have graciously donated all their tips to St. Baldricks - Trinity Hall will be matching their donation in appreciation of their efforts!

St. Baldricks is this Saturday at Trinity Hall. A day of fundriasing for Sr Baldrick's Foundation, whose sole purpose is to fund research into identifying cures for Childhood Cancers! Last year this amazing group of over 50 volunteers had their heads shaved and generated over $170,000 in donations! So far this year the donations are at $  61,000 so a little extra help will be needed!

Read more below about this Saturday's events, a special Beer Tasting Menu tomorrow, A Traveling Musician with us this weekend, and a truly unique Poetry Night at the Pub - Not to mention the last seats at our Macallan Tasting on Tuesday are about to fill in!

FREE EVENT AT WINFREY POINT
Official Tartan Day Celebrations with Scots in Dallas!
The hillside around Winfrey Point House is frequently "dotted" with families enjoying a Sunday afternoon picnic.
Treat your family to Scottish music, sailboats on the lake, a relaxing picnic on the hillside and join us as we celebrate National Tartan Day, with a festive gathering known in Scotland and Ireland as a ceilidh (like: key-lee or kay-lee).

The afternoon event will be filled with the sounds of bagpipes, drums and Celtic music, courtesy of the The North Texas Caledonian Pipes & Drums and Seamus Stout.

Demonstrations of Highland dancing courtesy of the Dallas Highland Dancers, traditional Scottish country dancing and more. Representatives of various Scottish clans will be on hand to share with you something of their clan customs and heritage.
Thank you so very much for making the holiday season fun and enjoyable for all our guests at Trinity Hall Irish Pub. A Pub is a reflection of their customers, and we are very proud of ours!  The return of the Sunday Mass & Brunch was a well received, family day out and thank you to our friend Nancy McBride for the extra effort to bring the event back this year! We look forward to seeing and serving you again soon. If we can be of any assistance between now and when we see you, please don't hesitate to call us directly!

Sincerely,

Marius Donnelly
