Greetings!
Are You Ready For This Weekend? Sitters are lined up, designated drivers and cabbies have their assignments? Nno heavy meetings or doctor's appointments planned until at least Thursday - give the body a day or two to heal!
Trinity Hall is gearing up, and we will are looking forward to what is forecasted to be a beautiful day in the mid 70's! We will have the Pub and Chaucers available, which means the entire patio will be open and we'll have a couple of satellite bars open to make the wait a little less.
We'd expect with the extra space that there will be plenty of elbow room for all and no reason to post a cover charge. However, if you are joining us later in the day and we have to stop allowing new arrivals in, we will start asking for a cover charge, so come early avoid the line and thus the cover charge!
If you want to avoid the challenges of Saturday's Parade Crowd - expected to be bigger than ever this year, especially with great weather - another option would be to buy tickets for the St Pats Brunch & Entertainment on Sunday. We'll have open sitting, breakfast & lunch entrees and music by Jogsaw & the Trinity Hall Session Players all afternoon! Visit the St Pats page for details & menu.
St. Patrick's Day is on Monday, and we are expecting a full crowd all afternoon. We are a family friendly kinda place, so if you are bringing the wee ones out please plan on being with us for Lunch (& The Irish Rogues Singalong). We will not allow minors to join us after 2 PM, and after 4 PM we will be over 21 only - State ID will be required -
We have a great slate of Musicians and Entertainers lined up and even one or two that aren't on the schedule are planning to be here! So get your rest, take lots of vitamins, clear your schedule and plan to be with us as we celebrate the essence of Irishness!
Slainte!

He made an immediate impression at the club though and the best advice he gave me was to say 'You get out of the game what you put in'.

This year the after Wiemaraner Rescue group march in the Greenville Parade, they'll be setting up shop at Mockingbird Station in front of the old Noodles restaurant, opposite the front doors of Angelika!

WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR LEFT OVER Corned Beef This Holiday?
From ABOUT:Southern Foods Website Corned Beef is the traditional dish for American Irish Celebration of St Patrick's Day. I only add the American to the title, because in Ireland the regular families would not have been eating Beef, this was way too expensive and truly the food for Kings.
The average Irish family would have been much more likely to throw a Bacon joint into the pot instead!
However, because of the abundance of briskets here, we figure there may be a couple of houses with the need for a recipe to prepare the left overs with. So follow this LINK to About.com-SouthernFood section! Bon Appitite! |
