Greetings!
Welcome back to all our Out of Town friends that return each year for the 1st weekend in March for the #2 Irish Festival in the country! The North Texas IRish Festival kicks off Friday evening at the Fair grounds and this year, even though its being sponsored by Bennigans, looks like a great year to attend!
The great weather is forecasted, the band line up is huge on 8 stages all weekend and we've even heard that the Tipp is offering a food booth this year - so you won't have to eat Turkey Legs unless you really really want to !
Before that though you have got to get down the Pub tonight and help the 1759 Dallas members celebrate their second anniversary. We'll have Pour your Own Pint stations - practice pouring your Half & Halfs before St. Pats, Guinness, Smithwicks & Harp all at $3.75 a pint 7PM - 9PM!
Its a very special Whisky Tasting on Tuesday..... Where else will you get to experience a 30 year old handcrafted whisky like Highland Park?
Jenny Glass brings some culture & class to the Pub on Sunday morning with her Harp recital from noon to 2 PM!
If you are planning any Happy Hours or Mixers with us at Trinity Hall during the month of March, please call and get your name on the books! We have a calendar that is filling up and we would want to be sure that our regualr guests get their spots first!
Slainte!

Meet Trinity Hall's Honorary
TOASTMASTER 2008
Presenting Matthew McBride, the man selected from a field of many to shoulder the responsibility of Pub Toastmaster 2008
We were fortunate to have toasts offered by Mark - The Mayor of Greenville - Pittard and his crew, including Master O'Hagan and Tony Garcia, and a great group of Pub guests that joined us for the event. For his efforts Matthew received a hearty round of applause and a small stipend to buy his pints for a little while anyway!
Thanks to his brother Topher for catching some great photos of the event! |

Ian Callaghan holds the distinction as the only Liverpool player whose career at Anfield spanned that of Bill Shankly. "I was only a kid when he came and I can't say I knew much about him. He made an immediate impression at the club though and the best advice he gave me was to say 'You get out of the game what you put in'.

Ireland Plays Unbeaten Wales March 8th
Next Saturday on the second last weekend of the tournament, Ireland plays Wales to stop the Welsh from winning Triple Crown or Grand Slam! Wales are in first place followed closely by the Irish currently with the French right behind. This will be a tough match for the Irish in Croke Park in Dublin and well worth coming to watch and cheer on the team! This is a Setanta PPV so there is a $20 per person door fee for the rugby match. |
