Greetings!
The season is upon us! What season you ask? The parading, music playing, singing, dancing and hanging out with friends and family season known as St Patrick's season is here. The arrival of The Chieftains for their annual kick off in Ft. Worth is sign enough that we are close to St. Pats Day!
But even before Paddy's pipes get to play we'll have the Great Guinness Toast this year on Saturday! Read below to better understand why some cities are Friday and others are Saturday.... Practice your toasting and you could be elected Toastmaster of the Year!
Six Nation's Rugby is on a bye week this weekend, giving the teams a chance to catch their breath, and in its place we'll have FA Cup soccer action on Saturday morning!.
Tired of all that Hair growing around your head? Thought about giving it up for Charity? Learn more about St Baldricks Day and how 50+ volunteers raised over $170,000 last year by having their heads shaved at Trinity Hall Irish Pub!
Whisky Tastings coming up..... Get your reservations in early for the Highland Park (March 4th) and Macallan (April1st) whiskey tastings planned.
Mockingbird Station Parking is back! That's right the underground portion of our parking has been re-opened bringing over 500 spaces back online, this is still in addition to the 2500 at DART station and the complimentary valets are still here on the weekends!
We know its going to get really busy for everyone here shortly with parties, parades, fund raisers and more parties to attend. We'll try to keep up and we'll have the St Pats page up shortly on the website, if there's a group in town or a party in the community we'll try to make note of it on the site, so check in often!
Slainte!

Although there has been a little confusion about dates & times for this year's toast, we have it on good report that the Guinness Team will be out in force this Saturday to promote the Toast. Unlike years past when everyone toasted at once to break the world record, now its more of a weekend event! The promo teams will be by the Pub with Beads for the toasters, a couple of sample toasts and a little encouragement to get up and toast! The Pub starts toasting at 8 PM and the Toastmaster 2008 will be elected by popular vote at 11 PM! No Cover & No Entrance Fee! |
