| Greetings!
Good morning and a beautiful day it is so far, and it looks like a crisp weekend ahead so make plans now to get out and about, and maybe visit the Pub on your travels?
O Flaherty's music retreat was a huge success with over 250 in attendance and great music throughout the campus. A real treat to see the range of ages, instruments, inidivuals and groups that gathered to enjoy the event. Chef Oscar, Peggy, The Murphys, Holly & I got to visit Sunday for the final concert and what a treat that was! Book your rooms for next year you do not want to miss this again!
This Sunday we will NOT be hosting our usual Pub Quiz but we will have Horse Racing on instead! Read more about the fund raiser event for Team in Training this Sunday (11th)
Tuesday Tastings - we had a great evening celebrating Dale Mayfields 25th Anniversary of an earlier birthday and enjoying quite the range of whiskey this past Tuesday, unfortunately we have had to cancel the Beer & Wine tastings this month, see below for remaining events this year.
The season is changing and our beer line up has been adjusting, moving away from the lagers & bright brews and moving to the rich ales & stouts to help ward off the chill of winter!
Holly & I are off to San Diego this evening, Holly is running the 1/2 marathon in San Diego on Sunday and she's allowing me to tag along to support & cheer her on; Matt's "got the com" and Izzy & Ray will be here to assist so come by and keep them company in our absence!
We'll look forward to seeing you next week before the holidays start and you have to attend all those office parties around town, don't forget Trinity Hall is always ready to help you with your Holiday Events!
Cheers, Marius

The Irish Sensation Anuna will be at The Bass Hall on Tuesday November 20th!
When they were in town during the summer, Michael and his team visited Trinity Hall and spent an evening with us, they promised to come back for a visit and we are delighted to hear they'll be in Fort Worth next week! Visit their site and read the rave reviews of concerts so far on this leg of the USA Tour! http://www.anuna.ie/news_update.html
Michael McGlynn founded An Uaithne in 1987 "My original idea was to create something that would make people aware of the beauty of choral music by introducing it to them in a way that they could understand. I started singing in choirs at the age of 19, and I couldn't believe that something so beautiful existed that I had never heard of before. I think that I got the sound of Anúna into my head right back on the first day I started singing with other voices for the first time. I had just begun composing at that time and I found that An Uaithne offered me a chance to have my own original music performed. I knew then that this was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life."
The development of An Uaithne into Anúna was slow but sure. By 1991 the choir had gone from singing standard choral music, with an emphasis on contemporary and ancient music, to performing Michael's arrangements of medieval and traditional Irish works combined with his original choral pieces almost exclusively.

Python Bruce Brings Baron's To Pub!
Ever wonder what a Wattle Seed was? or What you would do with them if you have a couple hundred pounds of them laying around?
Here's the answers, the Wattle Seed comes from a the acacia bush found in Australia and New Zealand, they use them to flavor a range of items including Ice Cream!
So the ingenious brewers at Australia's craft beer company Baron's thought to add it to their ale producing a rich brown ale with the toasty taste of molasses & treacle.
Not available in wide distribution, but on tap at Trinity Hall this hoiday season, stop in and have a pint!
