KEITH DONOHUE
Author of The Stolen Child, a Borders Original Voices selection
Dallas Museum of Art - Horchow May 18, 7p.m.
Inspired by the W. B. Yeats poem that tempts a child from home to the waters and the wild, Keith Donohue's debut novel, The Stolen Child, is a modern fairy tale narrated by the child Henry Day and his double. On a summer night in 1949, seven-year-old Henry Day runs away from home and hides in a hollow tree; there, he is kidnapped by the changelings-an unaging tribe of children who live in darkness and in secret.
Following the great reception received by Seamus Heaney last year the DMA has invited Keith to present at Arts & Letters Live!
