Greetings!
Caught up on your sleep yet? Everything is almost back in place at the Pub after a great weekend! Although Ireland's chance at winning the 6 Nations tournie got pipped in the last seconds of France's match aganist Scotland, they still left with the Triple Crown & a lot or respect!
Our big focus this week is St. Baldrick's Day on Saturday March 24th starting at 2 PM. Read more about this fantastic fundraiser for Childhood Cancers Cure research.
There's also some news about the winner of Ireland's "You're a Star" TV program, and his Aunt who is a well known local! Also, a request from a guest for assistance in gathering 40 empty Guinness bottles.....
So much goes on at the Pub that its hard to get it all on one email! We hope you had a great St. Pat's Day and Thank you to all that chose to celebrate with us, and those that chose to join us on Fri & Sunday! |

NELLIE NEEDS GUINNESS BOTTLES!
Nellie, one of the Pub's guests is hosting a dinner party in June and wants to use Guinness Bottles in the centerpieces. When Nellie asked if we would have any left over from St Pats we explained that we used all draft and no bottles, but that we would ask our guests if perhaps they had one or two empties laying around!
So, here's the request, if you drink Guinness at home and think you could bring us your empties, we'll be sure to pass them along to Nellie! (If driving be sure to store in the trunk to avoid an open container ticket!)
We'll pay you a bounty of 50 Cents per bottle as long as the Guinness labels are visible & intact! This offer ends on Sunday 03/31/07

FRED NOE, Jim Beam's Great Grandson Fred is in town this Monday evening and he has so much fun with Trinity Hall's guests that he wanted to stop in and say Hi!
This is less of a whiskey tasting, and more of an opportunity to chat with and perhaps get an autographed picture of Fred!
Fred is a walking encyclopedia & historian regarding the production of Bourbon, not only the family connections but he also has worked many positions in the process, including past whisky distiller the Product Ambassador! If you're around stop in and say Hi! No charge to visit {Fred will tell you all about the Single Batch bourbons including Knob Creek, Basil Hayden, Bakers & Booker Noe's) |
